Thankyou for the links. I still don't see any actual evidence that there are svd clones though? Ie, no one has taken a clone and genuine apart and showed the differences (if any)..

I keep agreeing with blakey tonight, what is going on That is definitely not a genuine Kayfun - there are only a few authorised vendors for these and in the UK, so far as I know, that is Cloud9 and Digital Steam and like he says these retailed at about £120. I've booked you in for a check up mate- something isn't right

Don't get me wrong, if there is a bargain to be had then that's all good but there is another side to the coin.
Just remember what we're all doing here, we're using an electrical item that heats a liquid in a glass or plastic tank less than an inch from our face. The LAST thing the vaping community needs is a headline that reads something like "Man/Woman loses an eye and half their face because of an E-Cig" . I know that is a bit sensationalist but it could happen. That kind of headline would set back the vaping community years at best and change peoples perception of vaping permanently. Not only that but the legislation that would follow especially in the western world would drive prices up massively over night for everything we need like batteries , mods etc and also it would sink perfectly legitimate businesses , again something I don't want to see.
I changed to vaping for health reasons , not because I'm ill but because after 30 years of stinkies and having a 5 year old I thought I might try it. I've been pleasantly surprised how easy it was to change and the differences to taste and smell alone have surprised me.Also the small things to, like not having your clothes stink like an ash tray after a party is a nice thing, being able to vape round the house and it not being offensive to anyone.

on the video or this thread bud? On the video.. they had confirmation from innokin that ft are not selling genuines.. However, as a side note which goes back to the original conversation, we don't know where the op's vendor sources their gear so it's conjecture at best that his are indeed clones..

Andy Whilst I agree with your concerns about vaping as a whole, if a circuit board were to go tits up, it would just stop working or in worst case scenario vent the battery if you were to experience a direct short.. it's this that leaves safety in your hands as the operator. Use safe chem batteries (inside their parameters) from a known source and you shouldn't have any worries..
