Pongy Juice?

following my juice prediament last week i was very generously
sent some juice by a user over at uk vapor uk.
expecting couple of mls it turned out to be .alot more
but the problem, it tastes like (what i can only describe) as a tramps smelly old socks and hurts to vapor.
ive left it to steep for a couple of hours and tried adding air to the bottles but no change.could it be heat thats made it like this?
is it high nic content or 100% pg thats making it taste strange?

if i go to boots and get glycerin BP can i do a 50/50 mix? or get some supermarket(non oil based) flavouring then do 45%VG and 5% flavouring?
i know this isnt the best flavour but this juice is really hard to vapor as ive been using medium before(and even thats hign for me), im not looking for my perfect vape just a way to make the it not make me wretch everytime i drag.
plus doubling the volume wouldnt be such a bad thing since im such a tight arse/frugalmiester and quite interested in mixing own juice in the future.

the juices i got sent are from 2 top quality shops/juicers makers, 1 of which i got a different bottle from and have been vaporing for the past week and half and had great flavour/vape/hit.

i have a 20ml 3ml and 2ml empty bottle to mix with so was gonna do it in bits...

Being frugal you could just add a couple of mls to any juice that you buy from now on and use it up that way , pure PG will effect the throat hit, making it much harsher but it won't affect the smell.

what flavour did they send you? you can name the brand too if you want so we have a better idea of what we are dealing with

when you say pongy do you mean a chemical smell to it or just the flavour

These boys will keep you right and safe. I will just add if it is "safe" to vape and the flavour really is that terrible, mix up 1 or 2 menthol crystals an add to the juice. Be careful though as it is very potent, but will prob cover any nasty tastes underneath or at least make it useable.

What i always do with juices i dont like is add a couple of mls of menthol which usually makes it more pleasant to vape.Apologies in advance if your not keen on menthol

paridise vapes pear and lemon

i was vaping paridise golden virginia(which im not a fan of in real life)medium for last week and half but loved it bette than analogues.
@river...its the flavour/taste when vaping although it does have same smell to it.
im not too good at descibing tastes but its almost like a burnt rubber taste.
even vaping med strenght(thick juice so guessing VG mix) i was getting slight bitter taste on side of tonue(at back) later in day which was reminisent of having a burnt tongue and this stuff is extra high pg

i took top off B&H and let air to for a few hrs but no difference but i let air into the lemon and filled a cart and i can now taste the lemon along the funny taste aswell. i can take 1 vape from it but anymore and its like the pain you get when you have a deep cut, can kinda feel a cold pain coursing through me.

if i add VG to it like for like then the ratios will be off..ie 50% VG 50% ejuice(made of 5%flavour 45%PG) so not sure exactly % of nic flavour PG and anything else.

Sorry,didnt read Jemima had already mentioned to try menthol :)As River says it sounds like an atomiser/cartomiser problem from what you are saying.What atomisers are you using?

thats what i thought but using same atty with med juice and its fine.
also i filled a cart up with lemon liquid and its still giving horrible taste(plus bitter lemon).
besides i cant vapor 24/36meg it''ll make my eyes pop out. im gonna have to mix it somehow.
maybe if i leave the bottle for a couple of days it''ll settle down.

im using TW atomizers and a innokin tank atty.

as a side note i cleaned out my tanks last night with water, is that ok thing to do? juice was getting into the mouthpiece section.

Are you using 510 atomisers with carts by any chance?

Ahhhh.. is the juice 36mg????? if so i had an experience with some 36mg juice
tasted completely different to 20mg so i know where your comming from on this.
i think there are different makes of nic/pg/vg and this is what you are experiencing

ian yeh...i mean the carts are what came in packet with attys. just added filler.

@river yeh i was thinking its a nic problem as even with medium nic i m getting a bitter taste at sides of tongue, its similar to when ive pullled a few drops of juice through and swallowed....so this juice is extra high and 24mg...im used to 0.4mg in analogues.

i mean comparing paridise vapes golden virgina medium. to PVapes lemons 24mg

virginia is perfect absolutly what i want from vaping and made it easier to switch from analogues...the lemon makes me wretch just looking at the bottle...like chewing on a year old unwashed pair of socks and gives me pain at top of chest/lower shoudler area.

If i was you i would get a pack of Boge cartomisers and a pack of Kanger bottom coil cartomisers and see how you get on.I tried every atomiser going when i first started vaping and the only ones i liked were the LR901s and LR306s.If it was me i would move on and give cartos a bash.

yeh i read good things about the kangers and was gonna go for them but i been vaping a week and half and not had any problems with current set up.
