Due to work commitments, I can't be on here 24 hours a day so my responses might be a little delayed.

I once had something shipped from China. It took 2 months to arrive and the quality was poor with no chance of a refund.

I'd rather pay twice the price for quick delivery from a UK re-seller.

I can't understand the attraction.

nelsonbloke - you have to admit that your OP was a bit provocative though And the replies you made too!
We all have different priorities; some like the real thing, some like sending their luchre to a UK vendor, some like the savings that can be made by ordering direct from China and putting up with the wait. We're all different.

No don't go back to lurking all genuine opinions are valid, so you don't see the point of FT and you are not alone in that, no matter.

don't go back to lurking it is questions like this that gets everyone replying with different answers and the only right answer is the one you end up going with but don't rule out anywhere you will be surprised

if you have to avoid anywhere make it be ebay overpriced fasttech stuff if you order it yourself it would save you a fortune

No you won't nelsonbloke! You're perfectly entitled to your opinion as we all are - I certainly didn't take any offence as I'm sure many of us didn't.

I don't think your opinion has upset anyone nelsonbloke sometimes posts that we make get taken the wrong way. Don't go back to lurking, your entitled to view an opinion, even if it differs from other peoples view.

I agree with Perpetua. I found this thread interesting to read, and not because its been you v's everyone else, but because you do have a point about the amount of time it takes from FT, and not being sure of the quality. Returning it isn't so easy either, as the cost of mailing back to china and the distance involved will mean it taking longer to get your cash back, and its more money to send it back in the first place. Most who aren't happy with what they get just leave it in the bottom of a draw a forget it.
