Ello, I thought it about time to actually get all my kit out & start using it in anger. MVP v2 #1 - all assembled with the Kanger Aerotank - works a dream. MVP v2 #2 - all assembled with Kanger Aerotank - the airflow bit (jagged edge bit round the bottom bit) is impossible to rotate and seems to be stuck on zero air flow - when I inhale, it is like trying to inhale through a blocked tube - I still get a throat hit & the taste, but no air seems to join in the party. Is there a simple way of loosening up this bit, so I can at least increase the airflow? I don't want to have to return it, but when I try to rotate that bit, the whole lot just unscrews & the rotating bevel thing doesn't want to join in.

If its at the topturn it clockwise to lower it, but it is quite common for them to be stuck.

Yes, the whole thing comes apart, get the marigolds on and twist the top and bottom, you should end up with 2 halves and 2 springs, then it's easier to move the ring ad loosen it up. Re-assemble and they're good to go.

What would be vapers do without Marigolds!? I use them regularly to take the chimney off the centre chamber in my Russian!

CaptainChaos I had the exact same problem, even got the pliers out and the thing would not budge, mine was stuck up the top though not down the bottom, it was sending me crazy till I watched a youtube video and then realised I was trying to turn the damn thing the wrong way Hope you get yours sorted too, and if you've been turning it the wrong way then it's not just a 'female' thing

Thank you all .... erm ... I wasn't turning it the wrong way, no of course I wasn't. It was definitely stuck & now it isn't stuck. No idea how I sorted it out, but it is sorted out & nice & loose now

Also - when you press the "on" button on the side to vape, one of them hisses & you get the odd pop as the coil heats up (I guess) ... the other one is totally silent ... is that normal?

willy9b I'm not worried - all the vapour arrives no problem - I'm just used to the hissing & crackling!

Hissing and cracking is a sign of a really good coil!

Hissing and crackling is a great sound. Shows the coil is in good condition and working at it's sweet spot. So long as it's not burning the juice it's fine.
TBH at the last vape meet in York I someone heard my nautilus popping and reacted like it wasn't expected from anything other than a rebuildable. Made me smile in a kinda selfish way.
