Wonder if Ash is reading this thread, as I also find the black background really difficult at times; in fact, I don't like black backgrounds on any site. It makes it so difficult to read!! Give me boring but reliable white background with black text any day (am I turning into a grumpy old man!?).

Well all I can say is background aside my first ever order arrived lighting fast, well impressed.
Change the background though guys, us olduns with knackered eyes cant handle it lol.

Problem is you cant hover using a tablet.

I don't have a tablet, unless you count blood pressure ones that is I use a laptop at all times!

As we are in the mood for spitting hairs, I find it easier to search on google for products on myepack.

I type stuff like "myepack itastevv v3" and it goes straight there.

If I go on myepack and put itastevv in the search box, I could be there for days on end.

Not ideal.

Mind you chykensa, black print on a pure white background can also be a tad harsh.

This is going to be a difficult one to change as all our own branding is done in the same colour scheme
we will look into it and see what can be done to make it easier to view.

Ash, maybe just some toning down? For instance a less black background & maybe a hint of pastel in the text? Plus it really would be helpful if you made use of the sidebar to add links to related items

Must admit, the colour doesn't bother me personally Ash myepack, but searching for a product I find really time consuming ( thought it was just me ) now I always do what Djs has said ^^^^ it's far easier and more straightforward.

As for colour themes, I've spent many a long night tweaking the various forum colour themes & I'm still not sure they are all as good as they could be, so still do the occasional extra tweak . But you may find it interesting to know how many members use each theme -

Default theme - 6,169 members are currently using this theme.
Blues theme - 48 members are currently using this theme.
Black/grey theme - 25 members are currently using this theme.
Greeny/Blue theme - 19 members are currently using this theme.
Proboards (limited extra coding & no large smilies) colour theme - 15 members are currently using this theme.
Pink theme - 11 members are currently using this theme.

Admittedly the above results may be due to the fact that not all members realise there are alternative forum colour schemes available
