Hello everyone.
I've just started looking (today) at alternatives to ciggies and I am interested in getting as cheap as possible a starter kit for e-vaping.
I've seen this on Amazon: www.amazon.co.uk/E-Shisha-Rechargeable-electronic-Cigarette-starter/dp/B00J8P5RL0/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1402578420&sr=8-7&keywords=e-vape+kit
For £2.99 it seems like an ideal entry lvl. I know that you have to buy liquid to go in it, but is there anything else I need in particular?
I've never used a e-vape before, never seen anyone using one.
Any help or advice, specifically great kits and where I can purchase one within the next few days (UK) would be greatly appreciated (as I don't know exactly what it is I'm supposed to be looking for)
Thanks.

Hi smokebelch, welcome to the forum £6 (inc P&P) sounds too cheap, TBH. The main problem with these cheapo starter kits is the battery. You may be lucky, it might last months and months, but (IMO) you'd be better off spending about £20-25 on a pukka kit with 2 good batteries. You need 2, because sod's law says that your battery will run out just when the cravings hit you!

My experience is that these very cheap kits are usually unreliable - they leak and break down. What happens then is the user becomes fed up throws it in a drawer and goes back on the fags. A good place to start would be an ego/evod battery and something like a mini protank 3 This would cost about £20 from Myepack but would be reliable and give you a good starting point
You don't get many fags for 20 quid

Hi smokebelch and to AAEC, the most friendliest vape forum around. Personally I would stay away from a kit like that, it may be OK to vape with but I think it's way too cheap to trust it's quality. If you want a good quality starter kit then I would advise you to take a look HERE The Evod kit has 2 batteries and enough spare coils to last a while but you will need to buy some juice to go with it, which is also available on the same site. It is a very trustworthy site, great service and good value. There is a wealth of kit out there and someone with more experience may advise on other stuff too. Glad you have found AAEC on your new journey it is truely the right place to start! If you have any questions just ask and someone will be along to help when they get the chance.

Hi smokebelch welcome to the forum. I think those shisha batteries hold only a small amount of charge probably enough for 2-3 hours of normal use before needing a recharge the EVOD's that cHooBeyDoo linked are perfect for trying out vaping and will last about 6 hours or more before needing a recharge so taking a the 2nd battery with you should keep you going till you can charge them again.
