Hi I am Claire I'm new to the forum and new to vaping. I used to be a heavy smoker and someone recommended the vapour E Cig had tried the cartridge one before and didn't do anything for me, but I got all the kit i bought an evo to start with, but had it for two weeks before i went in for the plunge, but one Saturday i ran out of cigarettes and thought sod it not buying any more and started on the Evo and haven't looked back ever since. i have a few e Cigs now a few Evo, few EGo and tornado T latter at mo is my Favourite although have had to get the 2ml head,
Like to ask a couple of questions if you don't mind, How do you know when to change the coil out please? i have quite a few so haven't had to throw any away yet, but am worried about my Tornado T, as i don't have spare coils with that at mo, am going to have to buy some, but it's the only one on a full battery lasts me all day, the others i have only last 3-4 hours some last longer which goes to my other question is the higher the battery the longer it lasts a 650 battery is not going to last as long as 1100 battery?
I was reading yesterday that you all seem to recommend a different sort of E cig can't remember the name offhand, what's so good about the one you recommend, i need a couple that will last me 12 hours each one on the go and one on charge, Although i went straight to flavours instead of going for tobacco flavour, wanted to get away from the whole tobacco thing, and cut down my nicotine by half already, I still use mine all the time, so need them to be reliable, like the Tornado has been for me.
hope that all makes sense I'm writing one handed at mo as i have a torn ligament and ruptured tendon in my left hand, and in a lot of pain high on painkillers so could all sound rubbish for all i know lolicon_nervous

clairea ello - I am not experienced enough to tell you how you know when a coil needs replacing, but I've been told the 'draw' tastes burnt & horrible. Yes a 1100 battery will last longer than a 650 battery. Enjoy AAEC - the people here have been really hepful to me & I am sure to you too

Hi there clairea. On AAEC there are a few recommendations for starters kits. You may find that they are different from the ones that you have as they are all from online vendors with good reputations and excellent prices to boot. Most of the members here would have at some point used parts of the kits recommended so know that they are reliable and any issues, you will get plenty of answers as to how to sort them out. More like tried and tested if you see what I mean as well as flavour and ease of use etc. I am not familiar with your kit but think I recognise some of the names. A 650 mah battery will not last as long as say a 1100mah battery. As a rule of them, the higher the mah the longer vape time, depending of course on how you vape. As a rule of thumb, always have a spare. Two 1100 batteries for a moderate vaper may last a day and a half to two days depending I would have thought, so if you do get one, get a spare so you always have one fully charged. Hope that helps with some of your questions

Hi clairea and from a fellow Claire I'm not familiar with the tornado t, but a quick google shows it as having cartridges inside, is that the one? Could you post a link to the one you have? What mah are your current batteries? 650 or higher? And how long do they normally last you? That will help us recommend something that would last you for 12 hours

I am not experienced with the coils that you are using, I am assuming if you have a tornado t that you are using an old version tank system. Generally as another rule, when the flavour and vapour produced drops off, it's time to change your coil. Some are able to extnd the use of their coil with a quick rinse depending on your juice and age of coil...but if it starts to taste funky...bin it! Can I make a suggestion, forgive me if out of turn, but there is another tank that would sit good on your batteries, good price for replacement coils and gives an all round good vape called the mini protank 2, it also uses a glass tank for juices which may crack tanks, or perhaps another one called the evod is also a sure bet, the heads are the same for both tanks and with small upkeep will keep going. Go to www.myepack.co.uk to see the tanks as I cannot link from an ipad

You need spares! get some for the Tornado T, did you get it from Totally Wicked? they are a bit expensive for what they do, but have good service and quick deliveries. The bigger the mAh rating (650, 1100, 1300 etc) the longer it will last between charges, it's a measure of the battery capacity, like a petrol tank on a car. We often recommend the Evod kit from Myepack as from experience we know it's good and cheap to run with easily replaceable coils which are also cheap and rebuildable if you want to do that (but not essential) which is similar to the Tornado 650 but if you want a bigger battery I would recommend you get yourself a Vision Spinner 2 from Myepack link it is 1300 mAh (twice a 650) this should do you for around 12 hours vaping, we recommend Myepack as they are very keenly priced with super fast deliveries. You can buy cheaper from China but may have to wait 4 - 6 weeks for dellivery. Or if you don't mind something a bit bigger the MVP is very good, you can vape and charge at the same time so it will never run out provided you can plug it into a USB wall plug it's available in some nice designs and both the above will be compatible with the Tornado atomisers you already have link. However I would say the Tornado T atomiser is a known leaker so you may be better with a different atomiser Hope this helps.
