Not exactly, I bought the protected ones, should've bought the unprotected, had the wrong battery in my watch list on Ebay

If you check the paperwork that came with the Zmax you will find under Batteries they advise not to use protected.

cHooBeyDoo I think its an error on tourchy's side because the pic is a protected Li-Ion but the description says unprotected. All Li-Ion are protected.

Edit: watsy is right, I just checked my SVD and VTR manual and both say to 'use IMR 18650 (without protection).'

Soo ...you thought you were buying unprotected but ended up with protected ? I would contact torchy ! Or ... It's too early and I'm easily confused
