A sleeper coil being one continuous piece of Kanthal twisted into dual coil

Not the most attractive coil in the world

0.6 ohm isnt bad for a 1st attempt lol

Built on a trident rda

and holy cow does it chuck out vapour

A fair attempt for what is a very tricky coil to make.

But I have to ask

Why not use 2 separate coils? As you are going through the centre post it makes them parallel coils anyway.

A much easier task for the same result is this, using 2 separate coils. These came out at .4

ive got around 30 mtrs of Kanthal and had a spare bit of time

2nd coil was a nightmare

sufficed to say i wont be trying it again

The Sleeper Coil, is ideal for RDA's which have,tiny post holes like the Atomic.

Yeh I saw this on rip trippers channel and I thought 'really rip? You honestly telling us this is noticeably better?'.

So is it a better setup then the standard dual coil setup?

I saw that and was as puzzled as you @purple1234 Ok it saves drilling out a post hole that won't fit 2 wires but I cant think of any other advantage.

I often wonder about some of the claims for fantastic 'new' builds, I think some people just have too much time on their hands......who me....no!

Yeah I've seen rip's vid as well so went ahead and made one don't really notice much difference I think it just makes the two coils heat at the same time as there's no break in the wire. Beats me!!!!!

I think sometimes 'Rip' just needs an excuses to pull some faces and give it the 'Holy sh*t, now that's what I call vaping.' routine.
Imagine if he spent an hour setting it up, then took at hit and went. 'Not much difference really!'
