I just brought the V5 even though I use mech mods, when driving I use a ego which is on it way out so the V5 will be my new driving vape tool ;-)

I use my v5 with my fogger v2 on for driving a bit big but I love it should really get a 18350 battery but don't see it happening anytime soon

Use a mech if you want some shrinkage, you just need to find what resistance coil works for you on a mech.  I only use my Kayfuns (my favourite being the one in post Q's other focal thread, sorry Q we are graffiting all over your thread) on a mech 1.3-1.4 ? * 1.6-1.8 ? probably better to start with YMMV.

I have a mech I have a kecig k100 if you know what one is its telescopic and takes all the 18*** batteries I also have a kick in my vape box might put it in to use

I have an FT kick and never use it, just kayfun + mech, as the battery goes down I just take longer drags and hardly notice.

what kick have you got because ft has 2 they have a vv one and a vw one I have the vv one

Sorry for the late reply I was tending the flock , I have the VW one and it seem OK except its 17 mm long and I get the impression that the real one is 15 mm so its not always a seamless fit.

when I got mine I was offered a choice of both but wasn't bothered which one I got and ended up with the vv one and I have measured it and it is 14mm length so fits in most mechs and I think you are right the real vw is supposed to be 15mm and its the length that puts a lot of people off and nothing wrong with tending the flock mate I have tendered them a couple of times tonight

I used mine with oldish efest 18350 short (< an hour, 18500 normally) dog walking, fit not a prob wanted to get the best form these poor batts & partly to ensure I didn't overdischarge, but you get a PWM vape with a 2 second duty cycle which is only just better than nothing, its obvious when your batt is low anyway so just went bareback.
