Yes, I was watching, lairey.  It was more like a training match for Andy, but I did love Rola's reaction, when he won his only game of the second set.  Good experience for the guy & he'll be back next year knowing grass a bit better & this year, Mr Murray marches on.  |

I'd love to see Murray win Wimbledon again but doubt he will do it this year.
Last years victory was immense, and for me, the finest moment in British sporting history. To see him transform from that gangly kid to the powerful athlete he is now shows his dedication and desire to be the best. To be on Murray mount when he beat Novak in the final would've been awesome...
First two matches have given him no real test yet but if he makes it to the second week he will be facing a lot tougher opponents.
Love tennis, love Wimbledon, love Murray.
C'mon Andy.

lairey, are you keeping your eye on Heather Watson too? She's second game on Centre Court today. A good & young player, especially if she can get her first serves in, she's playing the 9th seed today. Might be a tad too much for her but

Had to make an appearance in the office today jess  Still, after Monday I can watch all the tennis I want  But yes, realised Heather was playing later only this morning. I'm going to get out of here early so I'm home in plenty of time for the footie, but don't think I'll manage the 2nd match  |

The ladies eked it out until now, lairey, didn't go the whole hog though. So, Mr Murray on next. But........they may be opening the roof & that will take about 15mins! lol Hope you had a lovely lunch & that it was a happy affair. |
