Right, been away for yonks but I've kept on vaping. So hello again. Or simply hello...
I'm old school mixing - you know my own VG (from Boots) PG, 7.2% nic, flavours etc... Been doing it for over 7 years. Anyway, I have a question which I hope someone can shed some light on and let me know if i'm right cos I'm stuck in my ways and like to do it the way I'm used to...
I found a flavour that I like but they cant do it for me in a concentrate. I can buy a 100ml shortfill which comes with 2 x 10ml 18mg nic shots which will make 120ml of liquid at 3mg BUT I want my liquid to be 8mg.
Therefore I believe if I mix 20ml of my nicotine with PG to dilute it to 48mg then if I add the 20ml of 48mg PG based nic to the shortfill, then I will have 120ml of the juice at the flavour it should be as I am still only adding 20ml to the 100ml, the only difference is the strength...
I believe that 48mg is correct because the ratio is 1:6 and if I want 8mg then the input amount must be 6x8 (as the original is 3x6 =18mg) =48mg..
Am I right or am I barking up the wrong tree...

Hi my latest tank has given up and I'm now down to one - a kangertech which takes the CLOCC 0.5 ohm coils (is this sub-ohm vaping, I dunno) and I had a arymi gille tank before that, until I left it in the back of a taxi after a night on the beer. So I am looking for advice on a regular, not overly expensive tank that can handle a lot of Watts and will give me a good throat hit without burning the coil. All advice greatly appreciated Cheers Cammy

Hi, apologies, I haven't been on here in a while. I kinda got lazy as I found some juice, tanks and battery that have been great for me for years. Now, my 80w Eleaf istick has just packed in and although I have probably used them for 3/4/5 years since I upgraded from a Vamo, I find that I need to buy a replacement and don't know what is a good purchase these days. I don't want to break the bank but need something that can provide a lot of watts and isn't going to break down after 5 months like my latest istick has done.
Any recommendations?

Hi thanks for the replies - I've had a look at the ISub coil - seems that I'd need to change my tank to use it tho - i don't think it would be compatible with a Kanger/Protank style that I use. I'm not adverse to changing the tank if I can find a coil that will perform and is not difficult to rewick with cotton.
I don't tend to subOhm vape - I like my coils about 1.4-1.7 and usually ramp my iStick up to around 13W.

I use the uncoil in my Kanger airflow tanks. I like them because they can handle a lot of heat without burning the wick - something I've had problems with in the past and also the fact that once the wick is done, I just pull out the old cotton, dry burn the coil and clean it, then roll up a new bit of cotton and thread it through the coil.
For me that's a lot easier that re-coiling as I've tried that in the past with various other coils and wire and Its too much of a pita. I like the fact I can use the same coil and it's (quite) simple to thread the new wick through it.
Is the isub range the answer for me then?
Thanks

Hi all - for the past couple of years I've been using the uncoil from virtual vape but might now need to look for an alternative as there aren't many left in stock...
Can anyone on here suggest a similar robust coil that is easy to rewick and doesn't burn easily?
Thanks in advance

It arrived today. A back up for my 40w istick back up. I now own 7 isticks although 4 of em are temperamental and only seem to work if I hold the atty firmly against the centre pin.

Cool. That's what I thought, was just going to fill em up and freeze them. I'm sure I've read somewhere of people sterilising them and treating the bottles to avoid air pockets. I'm ready to start stockpiling and wanted to check for any dos or don'ts first.

Hi all. Are there any tips or guidelines to follow for freezing my nic base. Should I sterilise my Amber bottles before I add the nic or just pour it in, up to the top, label it and pop in the freezer? Thankful for any advice you can give...
Cheers
