Anyone used G-Plat Elite wire

ronaldo Apparently a mass spectrometer shoots charged ions at a sample and from the scan of oojimiflips it gets back, you can identify the actual chemistry of the sample's charges e.g. 'this one has acetone in it'. Not usually seen outside of pharma labs and Universities ... hmm... I live next door to a University, wonder if anyone in the Physics department could do with a mini-study for their MSc?

Are you going to do a side by side build, same ohms , one on normal kanthal the other on this one, each with fresh batteries?

I hadn't intended on doing so.

Yesterday I weakened down the 9mg juice I had to 4mg and today built a dual coil off my magma. The single coil yesterday which I posted on 'whats in your hand now' thread was 0.4 ohm and the dual today 0.2 ohm. All I can say is I am extremely happy with it as I find it so easy to coil. I get no wool taste or metal taste, its flavour is good and easy to achieve a good sub ohm.

I will use this wire and an rda more often from now on. Three hits on 4mg on a decent rda is vastly different to  daily using kangers lol. I also intend on getting other sizes and at least 1 perhaps 2 different rda's. Before it would take quite a while for me to wrap a coil from A1 using a magnifying glass/light. Using this it doesn't even take 5 minutes.

Am I experienced or qualified enough to do a formal comparison. No as it needs someone with electrical skills and greater experience in doing reviews.

What I will say, its dripping all the time now at home. I actually am saving using this.

Buying something is up to an individual. I don't want anyone else to buy anything especially if its too costly for them.

I remember pauly off here did a good review  a few months back. Might actually get some for a try, though I prefer coils. Sure I read somewhere some of these had blown up!!

Hiya old thread! Well, someone on reddit sent a sample of 'gplat' to a metallurgist and their conclusion is that it's just welding wire.

The metallurgist's opinion

In response gplat "makers" Vapinology took down their Facebook accounts. No standing their ground, justifying its superior qualities, BAM page gone. Their company website is still up, now at any rate.

I knew that all that stuff Rip was saying about vapinology making the stuff to their own recipe was bull. No one can just walk into a steel mill and start telling them what they want. metallurgy is a scientific process and there isn't much that can be made that hasn't already been made and is being used in the world today. Welding wire, Love it.
