bud tank atomizer help please

Hi,
Does anyone know how to clean the bud? I tried looking on you tube but couldn't find anything.
I have refilled it about 3 times and now the juice is getting darker at the bottom and it is starting to taste slightly burnt.
Should I just empty it, rinse it out and refill or do I need to take it apart?

Hi Eve,

I tried taking these apart to clean but there's a little piece of wick that runs through the centre hole that is very difficult to get back in ok. The best thing is once empty to rinse with warm water and flush with a syringe till its nice and clean. You could also try denture cleaning tablets about 50p from tescos for 30. Put the bud in a cup add hot water + tablet then leave over night, rinse as above and away you go. A bud should last 5 - 10 days using these methods.

Also they do tend to turn the juice brown if the juice is a sweet type.

When I did this the rubber washer and metal wick holder seperated when taking apart that as I said above makes it very hard to get back together. So I just washed and go! (hehehe)
I found this was good enough to get rid of the brown liquid in the tank.

I think I will just try washing first before attempting to take it apart though.
I might wait until It is dead first then I can practice without ruining it.

Good idea, remember these are supposed to be disposable items

Do you have one of vapeescapes griz whiz's? They are great for forcing clean water through carto's, worth looking at

I use a syringe to clean mine out. I fill it with warm water and quirt it into the hole where the little nipple goes. I do that a few times until it is clean and then use the syringe to remove any water that is left in there.

I leave it to dry for a few hours then.

It takes a little while to reprime it afterwards. A little longer than breaking in a new one, but it does work quite well.

Yes I do have a griz whiz, I will use that after cleaning to get the water out then leave it to dry.
