A tale of Vaping, Vamos, tasting juices, Cakes & Coffee.....

So,

My work took me down to Cornwall today, I was a bit hungover from doing a Corporate Entertainment evening last night (booze cruise around Plymouth Hoe) but decided to surprise Helen ( zeldamum ) at her shop in Camborne Cornwall by popping in. Helen was pleased to see me and had a Customer in the shop having connector issues with a Vamo & Protank, so I thought I'd better earn the free coffee and tried to help. Said Customer left happy with a airflow controller and some advice on how to get the Vamo & Protank to play properly

We had a lovely chat & Helen got out some samples she had been sent from Juice manufacturers and we proceeded to try them out (Helen was a bit horrified when I first checked flavours by actually tasting the liquid as opposed to vaping them!) but I did find a very nice pear drops flavour. Helen's Daughter was in a baking mood and brought out some lovely Cheese Muffins that I at first refused, but the smell was so lovely that I had to have one, then another!

We sat and chatted for ages, vaping all the time and before I knew it 2 and a half hours had passed! I said I must go and that was when Helen's Daughter appeared with my Achilles Heel, Chocolate Brownies, a big slab was dispensed to me and another Customer came in with a Spinner bought off of Ebay wanting to try a BCC. Helen gave him an Evod to try but it would not fit ???

On closer inspection I noticed that the Ego threads had not been cut! He had been using a 510 tank so he now knew why a Evod would not fit.

I finally prised myself away with a 3 hour car journey in font of me but with a full tummy and a big smile on my face

What a lovely afternoon!

My apologies to chykensa , Q and any other local Forum members for not letting them know I'd be in their hood, but I was unsure of timings and work load.

Sorry to have missed you DiscoDes - the jungle telegraph was in full swing but I was just too far away to get to Beacon in time. Glad you've sampled the wonderful baking that emanates from the rear of the shop, and that you were able to catch up with Helen.

Very sorry to have missed you DiscoDes I couldn't have made it anyway, wifey's knee tripled in size yesterday needing a paramedic call out and she has to take it easy for a couple (or 3) days, no kneeling etc which basically means I am running the business (almost) alone, she can feed the cats, answer the phone & take bookings but all the dirty work is left for me, so until her knee improves I'm work tied

Glad you got to meet Helen and family, its a lovely shop, atmosphere is amazing, all B&M's should be like BeaconVape

It was lovely to see you again DiscoDes, I am always happy to let someone with far more experience and knowledge take over when dealing with customers issues, it's how we all learn after all. I didn't realise how long you were there for the time went so quickly. Vape meets are always an enjoyable experience, but meeting fellow vapers one to one is especially nice.

You can tell my daughter doesn't like being away from me for long, bless her. She was very happy you liked her baking.

Q I am glad you like the atmosphere in the shop, but its not the shop its the people in the shop who make the atmosphere amazing and I must say I have some very lovely customers and all the forum members who have been in the shop are fantastic. That is not discounting forum members who have not visited my little shop who are also very lovely people.

I have come to the conclusion all vapers are fantastic people.
