Well guys sorry it has been so long since my last post, I'm still vaping and my Asthma has never been better! Just though I would offer my thoughts on the new Aerotank Mega for anyone looking to buy a tank with adjustable airflow. All I can say is WOW the Aerotank Mega is a beautiful tank the air flow on it is amazing and the flavor really rich even with a 50/50 liquid in! Until now I had been using my Nautilus which was also very good but this thing blows it out of the water. The capacity is not quite as much but still very acceptable holding 3.8ml and they have re designed the airflow system from the original Aerotank and now it works a lot better, they have also re designed the coils which seems to have helped a lot but you can also use standard Protank 3/2/EVOD coils if you like to rebuild them. I was going to upload some pics but for what ever reason it wont let me so here is a review by InddorSmokers that highlights the changes over the original Aerotank. Aerotank Mega ReviewAll I can say to anyone thinking about getting a tank with adjustable airflow is buy this one! Alex.

Forgot to mention although the stock coils are 2 ohms which is higher than the 1.8 or 1.6 ohm ones that come with the Nautilus the Aerotank actually produces smoother and more vapor on a lower wattage, I have it on 7 watts on my MVP 2 and could only get a decent vape out of the Nautilus above 8.5 watts

I have been re wicking the prebuilt coils with cotton and it makes a big difference.

Just a normal single micro coil using a protank 2 coil head, i didnt realise you could tamper with the stock coils, looked into it briefly when the mega tank came out but not since, going to check that out because i did like the stock coils, i can imagine they would be awesome if modyfied :-)

I have seen one Youtube vid where someone managed to stack two microcoils in , as far as I'm aware, there wasn't any description of wire used or the ohm reading afterwards, I'll have to recheck the vid , if I can find it.
Andy
EDIT :- The video is for a Protank 3 mini , so the principle is the same, and he got 1.3 ohms using 0.2mm Kanthal with 8 wraps on a 1.5mm drill bit LINKY LINKY

Yeah I will be attempting my 1st re build when this coil goes so any info you guys have on the best way to go about it I'm all ears, I have done a iclear 16 re build but using cotton wick and some nr/r/nr wire but thats was a bit easier as it was top coil so just slotted the coiled wicks in, i'm worried about messing up a bottom coil with the wicks having to be so short lol
