Accidentally dropped my Vamo (one of the new ones) and it has 'jumped a thread' leaving a bend in the middle Whats the safest way to fix this? I've tried using my vape grips but cant budge it

Where is the bend exactly? The thread of the 18650 tube or the joint just below the control head?

Is it actually threaded? My v5 (fastech from a while back) is just a push fit there.

Remove any tubes that will unscrew. Stand it upside down on the worktop. Put a bit of wood over the end and give it a clout.

I use a vice if you have one 2 pieces in the jaws to protect the vamo then tighten away using a straight edge until right

don't overtighten atteys keep 510 connector clean and dry and vamos will last for years until buttons wear out and I can replace them when required but at focal prices at the moment they are now at a disposable price but with people throwing them away I don't get spares very often now to fix other members

You could be right, in my confusion I was thinking that it was the extension tube but of course it isnt, so it may not be threaded. I've got a woodworkers vice on the garage bench so I'll shove it in there later, once the builders have moved their van. Thank you everyone
