Morning guys,
Had shower, rice crispies, codine and tramadol. Breakfast of champions lol.
Just finished my first bag of antibiotics if so I'm not tied to anything until later on.
Visiting hours are 1.30-4.30pm and 6.30-8.30pm if anyone wants to come see a sickie lol. Ward 23. Toby Burnett. ...
Managed to sneak a Vape at 3am as I'm next to the window (open) got a ward buddy who watched crap tv until 3 with me, he kept lookout Ha ha.
Been using a niccorette mist thing, ok but I hate menthol and it instantly gives me hiccups !!!! Weird. Anyone heard of that happening?

I'm still waiting for a cuppa and sandwich. Been hours and I keep asking. Usually they get you to eat something after general anaesthetic but ...... I'm sipping coke which is first of any calories in over 24 hours. Btw another patients wife bought me juice lol
Much more painful than original operation, but surgeon didn't / hasn't co e to see me post surgery to explain what he found / did etc . Too late now I think. All very odd and I'd quite like to know tbh.

! just thought I'd let you all know I've had my surgery to clean infected wound.
I'm pretty groggy on morphine, double vision and one finger typing.

Hi ruffdog there's one at Linwood about a mile and a half from the RAH and just off the M8 and en route to the hospital. Essentially over the Erskine bridge and it's the off ramp just before the St James's interchange. Turn right at the roundabout and it's next to the Asda at the Phoenix Centre car place. You cannae miss it. It's not wee...it's a muckle one. Search google maps for directions. Then you head out of Linwood and towards Paisley and you'll see the signs for the RAH. I no longer live in Elderslie so can't tell you what they have in stock. Good luck and hope you get better  Nice one, cheers, |

If anyone is around locally in Paisley area or between Oban and RAH PAISLEY and has anything for sale or even a loan of to get me over a weekend hospital stay could you get in touch please. Think small, desecrate

Sorry to hear your having a large slice of bad luck after your initial op ruffdog . Wish there was something I could do to help. I'm only about twenty five minutes in the car from RAH Paisley. Your biggest problem will be the I V drip which will probably mean you can't get out the hospital for a good old toot. The pain must be bad enough without the added shite of having to drive from Oban to Glasgow and back ................twice. I'll be in Paisley on Saturday ( or as near as damn it) as have to pick my daughters up at Glasgow airport. If I can be of any assistance or you need anything at all, let me know. Better luck this time round anyway. Awwww thanks mate, I've just posted a kind of "wanted" add if anyone's close by with a spare bit of kit. That's awfully kind of you though striker42 hopefully I'll have internet on my tablet (if they let me charge it) so I'll keep in touch. If not I'll be in ward 23 I think. So looks like I'm going into hospital at RAH PAISLEY this evening / afternoon and I'm needing to buy a wee stealthy setup, my gear ain't gonna cut it.
So I'm looking at a couple of shops (Google ecig Paisley) just want a cheap little box battery and a tank + something nice pg based ( not garage crap juice Kik etc, yuk)
Any recommendations. Or if anyone got anything to sell and could meet me ???

Back from a&e and the lovely nurse and doctor have re bandaged me up as everything was "leaking" for want of a better word. Nothing cleaned out though so all swollen still of course, yuk so gross thinking about it. Sorry. TMI.
So I'm still on for driving down to Paisley tomorrow and having a complete wash/clean out operation on Friday. Not to expect to be out until Monday.
Dunno what I'm going to do about vaping, no time to purchase anything. I got nothing USB rechargeable, no tanks ready and nothing predominantly pg based. Ahhhhhh any suggestions?

Ps, don't wanna really have patches, I only drip, diy custard 7mg 70/30 vg.pg juice, single coil at 15w most the time. Old skool 😁

Thanks guys, yeah the top photo is my bandage now. One underneath is when it was all healing well !!! You can see it was a little red then but it was fine. Now my arms bigger than when I came out from the op in may. Ok, think dinner first ???? then a&e just incase they admit me ! I don't think I could drive down tomorrow again. We'll see what a&e say this eve. T

Hi guys, Been a while,  I had cubital tunnel surgery on the 18th may and unfortunately about 11 days ago the wound started to get infected, now it's really bad and yesterday I managed to drive 200 miles to hospital post operation appointment to be told to come back Thursday to be operated on and put on IV drip antibiotics possibly for the whole weekend.  What am I gonna do. I feel awful, my arms hanging off, swollen to hell, they apparently can't do this clean wound and iv at my local hospital in Oban wtf. I'm considering just going to local A&E anyway, might be admitted? When I saw my GP on Friday he said if I'd just gone to a&e they would have put me on a drip! But I got tablets instead. Worst yet is RAH PAISLEY has total no smoking policy including ecigs .  ?????? Sorry guys, had to talk to someone. Ruffie Pre infection, healing nicely. And yesterday's pic. !!   |
