@scooby just noticed they have changed the design of the bell end from screw fix too o-ring fixing why i don't know as the screw fixing was fine (i presume cost saving) so i have no experience on the new design with the o-ring design. I don't either, they say; 'The bell has o-ring now for a quicker change of fluff,'I agree, just cost saving.

Will just make it easier for the cloners, so them saving money with cost saving just makes it easier for the cloners

Hi all just got my new spheroid this morning and had exactly the same problem I was looking for the Allen key in the top thought they forgot to put it in until I realised it was a new design felt like a right numpty. Anyway as you have all said it's very stiff but I found in one of those little bags some spare o rings and one of them the slightly thicker brown one fits perfectly and it's a hell of a lot easier to take the top on and off hey presto sorted.

That's great rich100 cheers. I always just label up the spares bag and throw in a box with all the rest. Brown softer 'o' ring does the trick, much easier to get out now but still I prefer the threads.

Hi @scooby glad I could help. Yeah I agree don't think it's a good upgrade threads much better. How have you set yours up wick wise I tried doing it as per website but didn't like it so I set it up similar to kayfun now it's much better.

Tried a few different ways rich100 and found cotton the best. I now use organic cotton yarn. Set it up like this with micro coil:

Wow superb photos mate. I was thinking of using just cotton as I don't really like silica thanks man I'm on it now are those two pics the same wick.

Did try the AndrewWVids way rich100 because as he noticed the cotton wool seems to loose flavour after a while. Not a problem for me as I like HoL coil gunking liquids so dry burn and re wick often. The Organic cotton I use now (and Rico cotton tape) don't seem to suffer from this loss of flavour, at least not as much a cotton wool.

Yep same wick taken at the same time. You can find the guide for what I call the 'cotton moustache' by Super-Shiny here

Thanks mate where do you get Rico cotton tape from. I tried some of that rayon stuff didn't like it as much as cotton wool. Got some organic on the way couldn't find it anywhere in Doncaster had to get it off Amazon.
