Anyone else think that replacing the threads on the bell with an 'o' ring is a retrograde step?
Supposed to make changing/cleaning the filler easier. Mine is a tight as a camels arse in a sand storm, skinned a knuckle getting it apart
Not an improvement at all imo

Just got my first and took a while to realise it wasn't threaded Take the base off and use a pencil in your bellend to push it up and off

I used the end of a wooden spoon Greg it's good fit in the bell I started gently and increased the pressure, it suddenly gave and the tube took a bite out of my thumb. As always a little lubrication helps..... but much prefer my other ones that simply unscrew.

Well lubricating the ring does help the bellend to slide in and out but I still prefer screwing it.

Vapegrips No way on earth can you get enough grip/purchase with vapegrips to pull it out, especially the polished one Only way is to push with something that won't damage the Venturi tube until it pops out, and that requires a fair amount of pressure.

I just put the vapegrips at a angle due to it being domed and hey presto it's un-done, only done this when i needed to clean the Spheroid, other than that there is no need to remove the bell top. Man up and think of it of getting a condom of your bell end

Man up and think of it of getting a condom of your bell end I'm afraid I'm going to have to admit defeat and start wearing silk knickers. The original Spheroids where the bell unscrewed were fine, no tools required, I don't see this as an improvement. I clean when I change flavour which is often so this makes it more difficult to do 'on the run' I may have an out of tolerance one as I did an experiment and it took 15kg to pop it out. BTW I don't understand the 'un-done' bit, do you twist and pull yours

@scooby just noticed they have changed the design of the bell end from screw fix too o-ring fixing why i don't know as the screw fixing was fine (i presume cost saving) so i have no experience on the new design with the o-ring design.
