One thing that drives me nuts about vaping is...... as the title suggests.... THREADS !!!!!!!! Why are they so ill-fitting so often? Why are some place's threads soooo incompatible with others?? Why am I having to raise a ticket with fasttech, as one of the two airflow controllers fits lke a glove, but the other feels likely to strip the threads on my devices?? I know, I'm an engineer, I know about manufacturing tolerances etc., but that's what specifications are for, so that when within the specified tolerances, different manufacturer's devices should screw together with ease sorry.... rant over

GunJackI'm no longer an engineer but I did train as an aircraft engineer and did a 4 year apprenticeship so I know the importance of toleraces ! unfortunately some manufactures don't hence why the new tip for my mini protank that was supposed to fit a mini protank didn't f'ing fit !! The reply I got was 'different manufacturers work to different tolerances ?? Surely if they are supposed to fit an item - they should all work to the same tolerances ?? ..... Rant Over

yes sammy13 an aircraft engineer. Was tough to start with as I was the only girl on the course of Mechanical Technicians .. got a lot of stick (jibes, comments etc etc) but one of my best achievements was winning best 1st year apprentice !! I beat all those guys who'd taken the piss out of me and said a girl wasn't good enough ... LMAO .. I proved em all wrong sadly being married to the RAF my marriage came above my career (divorced from the RAF and ex years ago though !) and so I now work in payroll - but those 4 years training set me up for life ! I often laugh as my mum says the day I started my appreticeship I stopped being a young lady (not sure I ever was really?) but working among men/lads who think you're not good enough taught me to stick up for myself and speak my mind. Yep ! mums right .. I aint no lady

Ok, wibble - where is the Malaysian plane? I bet they bought their wing bolts (or whatever the technical term is) from a cheap street seller in the far east. I want to be an assassin with a sniper rifle, because I'd be good at that
