Finally I'm back

Just got my wifi back up and running after 2 weeks of none due to moving house, been popping in and out on my mobile Internet but it's been iffy, hope I havnt missed much :?

It went quite well thanks Pepperty considering we were both working and moving when we can, fairly organised now yes but a much needed holiday due in a week and half to get organised for now though lol

great! you probably need the holiday now though! they say its one of the most stressful things in life - housemoving....

my mum liked to move, longest she lived in one home is 5 years. Always did loads of improvements - got bored - sold up and moved on and started all over again meanwhile I've lived in the same house for 18 years

Lol we rent and so far we are on house no 4 in 3 years, we ain't bad tenants just that whenever we got settled they wanted to sell up lol so hopefully it won't happen again, much needed holiday indeed

argh, that's a pain. Thankfully the only time I rented it was from family so I didn't have to worry too much, house i'm in now can drive me mad, its an Edwardian property and the wiring is wrecked and it develops leaks (even though the roof is new) sometimes I just wish it wasn't a hairsbreadth from being a ruin! But hey! its nice and roomy, so I cant complain ...too much.

At least by renting you can get the landlord on the case if theres problems, and hopefully you have a good one this time

..only because i'm too idle to move however much my teen daughter whine over room sharing.

Its the attic, its absolutely massive! I've threatened to hang a curtain between them but the room is 16 plus by 15 foot, albeit a weird shape but tons of room. I tell them that 100 years back all siblings had to sleep in one bed. all 13 of them!! and to shut up moaning

Thanks a lot gill2009 & Super-Shiny hope your all settled too in your new home mate, that sort of size room sounds more than ideal Pepperty, I can't comment on the 13 in a bed thing as only 24 myself lol

My first proper girlfriend shared her attic with her 21 year old sister which was divided by a curtain.

It's fair to say they aren't sound proof curtains.
