As per the thread title really.... Whats the best way to do this, when you go from one flavour to another and for general care, I've just been rinsing everything with hot water but is there a better way that won't damage anything? Any help would be appreciated Cheers Dave

Dave - I don't usually bother cleaning my tank if its just a flavour swap, just let my current juice run down really low then bung the new stuff along with the dregs of the old. For general cleaning I fill a mug with hot water and stir in a spoonful or two of bicarbonate of soda and let the tank soak in that for a while then just rinse it out and leave it to dry.

Yes "hand hot" water is best, for a deep clean soak overnight with a denture tablet (or bicarbonate of soda in the water) which will help neutralise stubborn flavours. A ultrasonic cleaner can also help. Some use washing up liquid but I don't like this as it can be hard to rinse off after.

Like charliehorse, for a flavour change I just let it run right down then add the new juice. Weekly tho, I like to strip my atties down completely, rinse through with hand-hot water, then it all gets a 30 minute bath in the ultrasound in warm water with a little lemon juice. I rinse the lot then all the parts apart from the heads go on the window sill for a couple of hours. I then thoroughly rinse my coil heads and dry burn them to burn off any crud. Another 15 minutes in the ultrasound in plain warm water then onto the water heater for a 'forced' dry. All ready in a couple of hours. I don't have a specific atty to use whilst I'm cleaning, I just choose one that I know I cleaned last time
