Have you made sure the contacts are clean?
Is the light on on the charger?
Clean the battery contacts and the contacts on the charger.

Done all that Des,its charging all my manual batteries fine.The green light stays on with the autos,left them charging anyway for a few hours but still no charge? (good song that was)

As some batteries charge ok it's not your charger, possibly faulty batteries?

Yes,looks like it doesnt it.Thought maybe they needed a different charger as they feel different when i scew them in,they dont feel snug if you know what i mean.Anyway,thanks Des. NNN. xx

Shouldnt think so Jason,ones only been used once using the same atty i use with the other batteries and the other is new,tried to charge it as the other one wouldnt.Theres just something about the feel of them when i screw them into the charger.Just my luck i suppose,never mind,thanks jason. NNN xx

Netty, I had this happen to me with that battery too. You may have fried your charger, that's what happened to mine, luckily I had a spare one. The lights come on/turn red as if it's charging/charged but it isn't?

use a multimeter to check voltage output of said charger.

Multimeter,lol,wouldnt know one if i had one,im a woman,i dont have tools,i have things that do jobs. Chargers fine,its charging my tornado at the mo.Mine is the opposite,it stays on green all the time as if its fully charged but its not.Are the center pins supposed to be loose? Pologies to both of you,i forgot both your names as soon as i started to type,doh! Netty. xx

As mentioned above see if you can gently pull up the centre pin with a pair of long nosed tweezers or a big safety pin or such.

I have had this a few times as well - the green light going on straight away. I have found that unscrewing them a bit usually works

Well Dave,believe it or not unscrewing it a bit did bring the red light on but now the blue led stays on as if its being drawn on,lol.surely thats not good?
