Just what i saw on a youtube review m8, he said had been using it with a KFL for a few weeks, you right about the brass threaded mods, crap imo and alot easier to strip than SS threaded ones, in fact not one of my SS threaded clones has stripped threads to date touch wood, tis a shame they dont do the 4nine SS threaded or do they maybe ?

Brass is quite soft , 1 thread will make so little difference its not worth considering. Ive not seen any stainless top ones but if there was enough interest I could get a friend with a cnc lathe to nock some up for a sensible cost more than likely
My gp paps came with a pre nacked stainless top. Only 1 tank I own screws in , the rest just pull out . 510 treading is crap. would be batter with a 1mm pitch but were stuck with what the tank makers decide

It doesnt worry me too much. Ive emailed m-vapes to see when they will get more brass ones / stainless tops in . if mine dies i will have been ham fisted and just make a new one .

M-vapes have just replied to my email. 7-10 days for the 4nine in brass with stainless top and button to be back in stock .

The magnets on the switch will go at some point. Fix with spider magnets and beware of the switch coming off (see phil busardo's review above)

Really it was never out of my hand till i got the VTR so that's a good few months
