Ok, here we go ..... I have a load of 10ml & 30ml bottles, loads of 1ml syringes (marked to maximum 40 for some reason). Couple of questions for you seasoned mixers. 1) The 1ml syringes are fine & I can work out approximately where I should measure it to (if 40 = 1ml, 20 = 0.5ml, 10 = 0.25ml etc) but would it be easier for me just to buy loads of "properly marked" 1ml syringes. 2) I've also got a few 2.5ml syringes, but they are too "wide" to fit into the concentrate bottles - should I just get more 1ml syringes or get 2ml syringes instead? 3) The Nic Base, PG & VG liquid (all 100ml) bottles are mostly long & thin as opposed to short & fat, which will soon cause an issue because I won't be able to get the syringe far enough into the bottle to get enough liquid out to make the amount I need. 4) I am looking at maybe getting 50ml or 100ml shorter & fatter bottles, so all the syringes will fit right down to the bottom of the bottle - where can I get these? I'll only need 4 x 50/100ml for the Nic Base (VG & PG), PG & VG. Thank you kindly in advance

I don't know. But let me tell you what I did. I got a laboratory measuring thingy from Amazon. It's a tall cylinder at 50ml with a pouring lip, marked off in one ml stages. Can't find the link, just google measuring cylinder. Works a treat. ps - just found this site, free delivery www.tts-group.co.uk/shops/tts/Products/PD1726907/Plastic-Measuring-Cylinders/They may have all you are looking for.

CaptainChaos just go in your local chemist & ask for some medicine cups they give you them free its what i use when my syringes don't reach in to partially full bottles, pour whichever liquid you need into them & draw up into a syringe then empty any spare back in to appropriate bottle/s, i start with nic base then flavour, VG & last PG any spare drops left in cup after putting spare back in bottle won't make much difference.

Thanks, dinamic22 - I was just closed minded & trying to keep it all in bottles rather than start chucking liquids all over the place hahahahaha

I was the same when i first started mixing CaptainChaos in fact i used to count the drops rather than use syringes as i didn't trust myself with syringes as i'm so clumsy but as i now mix for 5 others besides myself its syringes & its so much quicker.

Looks the business to me, pour each of the nic base, PG & VG in (using the 1ml graduations, add concentrates with a syringe, mix, then decant into appropraite size bottles... SORTED

I think I am going to try to find shorter wider bottles to put the PG, VG & Pic Base in to avoid slopping them into an open container.

I buy old baby bottles at boot sales and boil them for 30 mins. (the short fat ones) Perfect for mixing in and steeping large amounts
