Gear has arrived :-) One thing i didn't realise is that fruit flavours can be bought containing nicotine. Think ive ordered shisha 0mg ones lol. Lesson 1 TICK! Tried DK4 24mg which nearly took my throat off!! Fruit and Mint may well be the route i go down although early days yet

I'm not sure about EVOD's but usually you can just switch juices when empty and let it work through naturally without doing a big clean-up.
You may get a few puffs of crazy mix flavour but it's a good way to find and test future mixes. lol.

You can also mix your 24 mg with your 0 mg 50/50 and get 12 mg liquid if you're finding it too harsh. This, too, is a way to test new flavour mixes. For instance, DK4 and apple should work, have fun with it.

danielnufc - hi and a warm welcome from me too You've had some great advice here already, so just remember there's no such thing as a silly question, we've all been where you are now, and we can help you through the initial stages quickly and painlessly (apart from raiding your wallet when you aren't looking!).
There are just so many juice vendors out there it will take some time to discover a juice that you really like, but it's a personal taste thing so all we can do is recommend juices that did it for us, and leave the trials up to you.
Do remember that your taste buds will start to recover after smoking, and your juice preferences will change too. Might be an idea to try small quantities of various juices first, rather than end up with gallons of a juice that you have gone right off!

I used tobacco for the first 3 weeks then moved on to Strawberry, been on this for 5 months now.
So now I'm looking for something new and I've just bought 4, 10ml bottles from JJ
Apple pie
Strawberries and cream
Toffee
Pineapple
Can't wait to try them, but I must be patient! not something I'm very good at.

Quick update

3 weeks today off the fags!! Over the moon to be honest. EVOD doing the trick!!

Running low on coil units now, i can buy them from myepack for £1.20 each. Would that be about the going rate? Also can someone explain what different ohm levels mean?

Last of all can anyone recommend a good, reliable, reasonably priced one stop shop vendor? I'd rather really use one company that offer good service for accessories & liquids etc..

Appreciate any responses

Hi and welcome, you won't go wrong with myepack top notch vendor, I also use Mr ecig another first class vendor IMHO and cloud atlas vaping, have used them all and nothing but fantastic service. Do try and find a local good quality vaping shop, may cost a little more but you can't put a price on personal advice.

on a standard ego/evod style battery, 1.8 Ohm coils will be the best all-rounders

myepack do them in packs of 5, knocks a bit off, but to go through 7 coils (I'm assuming 2 in the evods plus 5 with the kit) seems like a lot to go through in 3 weeks?

have you cleaned & dry-burned the ones you have, or are you wishing to just replace?

I nearly gave up on vaping almost as soon as I started because I thought I needed a tobacco flavour, I was chain smoking rollies for almost 30 years previously! But couldnt find anything remotely close to the flavour of them all tasted like bummy ashtray lol. Then a local B+m opened up and let me try all their range and I discovered menthol and fruits stuck them together and I was hooked. At the moment totally addicted to lemon sherbert. But its all down to personal taste just try everything you can is my advice.

hi and danielnufc you might find like some of us that when you actually try the evod that you might not want any tobacco flavours at all, when i first started and ever since I have not tried a tobacco, didn't want to be reminded of smoking, but wanted the nicotine, so i went for fruit and dessert flavours and have stuck with them,
I can't help you with strong tobacco flavours, as mentioned never tried them, but i hope you find the ones to suit you, I have a couple of tobacco ones going, free to a good home, not sure what they are like, they are unopened.
