Nearly a year into vaping & still going strong! Thanks AAEC!

I think it was around last August i signed up to this forum to find advice/information on the world of electronic cigarettes and i learnt everything i needed to know right here, so a big thanks to everyone who helped me out.

My kit hasn't changed much over the year, i originally bought 2 of the EVOD style batteries from FastTech along with 4 iClear 16s and apart from a cheap white ego battery and replacement coils, that kit has lasted me the whole time without any problems!

Both the black EVOD batteries are still working fine and holding a decent charge! not sure on the specifics as i have nothing to test them but they appear to work the same as when i bought them.

My iClears have all started to recently die, not sure how or why but they don't make contact with my batteries (bar one) any more, i popped the bit in the middle of the battery up a bit because i thought they may have been pushed in and replaced the coils but no joy.. i suspect it has something to do with the metal pins inside the bottom metal piece of the iClear.

Due to the demise of my iClears i contemplated buying some more because of how reliable they have been.. but reading great things about the mini protanks i thought i would treat my self to a Mini Protank 3 & a decent authentic EVOD twist.. 

Both are short of amazing! the mini protank is beautiful to look at and provides an amazing vape.. more airy than the iClears which i prefer and everyone who sees it usually comes out with "oooh, that's a posh one"

The EVOD battery is nice, although a little wide! i thought it was supposed to be 14mm, i suspect it is more 14.1-14.5mm because it is not the same width as the mini protank which is 14mm, not a major problem but it would be nice to sit flush with the protank... looking for a smaller 14mm twist now





I pretty much buy all my juice from joose juice, definitely my go to place.. only go elsewhere if i forget to order.

Menthol is my all day vape, has been since the beginning.. 6mg 70/30 even though i hated menthol fags!

Strawberry (Don't know why, the taste just made me feel sick)
Strawberrys & Cream (Same as above)
Belgium Waffle (Way too sweet for me)

Cas, Sounds like you are immune to the shinyitis... I'm jealous.
Congrats on the anniversary, that's an impressive acheivement.
Also a big JJ fan, Caramel Blend is my all day vape. So far the only one i didn't like was key lime.

I'm going to get some caramel blend & apple pie, I've tried the caramel before and liked it and it's nice to have something different to menthol now and then..

Reckon i have caught the shiny bug now, looking for a smaller battery that's steel/silver colour to go with the protank when i am out and about, the 1000mah EVOD isn't pocket size! lol feels like a baton, but still feels lighter than the other 'fake' EVODs

Going to order a couple more of the mini protanks from FastTech i think.

Protank II were untill recently my everyday clearo, but I have found a cheapo glass 2ml BCC on FT that does the job for me now.
If you find the draw a little airy on you PT, don't forget you can get an airflow controller now about £3 or £4 on Myepack.

Coveting a dicodes dani , a 4nine mod . An astro and a stingrayX amongst many others !!! Have a mass of protanks , aerotanks and airflow controllers and have about 6 egos and 10 iclear 16s as back ups gathering dust ! Oh and a KFL sitting unloved waiting patiently for me to get round to making my own coils
You could say I may have broke even but smoking never was this much fun !!!
