Finally got a mod!

Finally gave in and got myself a mod today. Meant to get one earlier this week but couldn't decide. In the end it was a choice between a CoolFire2, a SmokTechSID or an MVP 2.0.
Bit the bullet and bought the MVP today, very glad I did too. As mentioned elsewhere it's an excellent piece of kit and it seems manufactured to a high standard. It's dead simple to use and looks the part with almost anything on top.
Just about to try some Cherry Limeade on it and see how she goes.
One question for you MVP users out there. Can I vape and charge my phone at the same time?

You can vape and charge the MVP at the same time but I'm positive you can't vape and charge your phone.
Maybe someone knows otherwise

Do you think this will cause undue stress on the battery?
It might affect the longevity of the MVP?

Not sure iv had a MVP2 for about 6 months only charged my phone on it 2 or 3 times and had never vaped and charged at the same time I do still get a good 2 days vaping between charges

I had my first MVP for a good eight months before it died rigdriver but I never charged anything with it.
I looked up manuals for the MVP 1&2 and it says nothing about vaping and using it as a charger at the same time. I still think it's probably not a good idea as it's bound to affect the life of the battery.

At the end of the day every time you hit the power button the battery is effected so the more you use it the more you charge it the battery will degrade

Good on ya ! My MVP is my all day device, vamo, mechs etc for home time , cracking piece of kit for the money, I've tried charging and vaping at the same time but I wouldn't recommend it, don't think it's dangerous or anything but it does seem to stress the battery, hope this helps

I charged my phone last night to run the battery down and cycle it a few times. I was watching Netflix while charging though. Lasted a couple hours, the battery got quite warm, then my MVP died
Thought I had killed it in all honesty, however I charged her and she lives! Haha. I only had a couple puffs while charging, definitely wouldn't use it as a power bank all the time though. Just wanted to empty her of juice to try get the charge capacity up. Probably do the same tonight to get it through a couple of charge cycles for going away next weekend.

It will stop working when the battery runs low, which is what must have happened last night. I don't think its anything to worry about.
It has a switch doesn't it, that turns it into charging mode? Im sure if you weren't supposed to vape when using it as a charger, they would have made it so it wouldn't fire when the switch clicked over to that setting.
