Now thats not a bad plan at all VapingBad . Ive got a shed load or orings kicking about in the shed Ive never considered using fishing line to attach a lanyard , what a cool idea. It will make the needed hole so much smaller than the leather I have. I`ll see how the ideas pan out for the weekend but might have to scrounge a bit off you if I go that way Cheers Fella This is what it looks like:

Oooh purty. The only thing I'm not too sure of is the anodised button as it looks like it's chipping around the edges. It'd look fantastic with a matching atty cage

Now that is a thing of beauty! I think it looks great in silver. Maybe you could knock up a matching drip tip.

Don't anodise the switch red, that look so good you need to get a massive ruby in the button. Really nice job

And its done, Ive decided not to anodise it as I think it looks good with a brushed raw ally look , saves the hassle of getting a good connection too. I can always do it another day if I want Final length ended up at 55.5mm , Anodised the button red as it reminds me of a detonator switch Pictures better than normal thanks to paulymeatballs guide. brilliant I was hoping you give it a knurled finish I absolutely love knurled finishes stops you dropping them love everything about it fantastic work

Glad you all like it , I`m pretty pleased with it Being a bit wider makes it a lot easier to grip than my 4nine clone. Its now going to be my new work mod. Defo don`t want to get into the selling malarkey decoy, too much stress. Whats the idea then ? I`m thinking maybe a side button for a future project . maybe for an 18500 batt or a skinny one thats really light weight, or both but any idea thats interesting to make will be good if I have a use for it and materials at hand
