I've been lurking around the forum for a couple of weeks now and picked up some really good advice/tips.

So I just wanted to say hi and thank you

I decided to try and stop smoking when I was told I was going to become a grandma for the first time. I've smoked since I was 15, so for about 40 years, I'd never tried before to stop but thought I've nothing to lose I'll give vaping a go.

I'm so happy to say I've not had one since I bought my first starter kit on the 17th Dec 13, so it's soon to be 6 months for me and I'm so happy with how everything's turned out, so are my family as none of them smoke.

I used tobacco juice for the first couple of weeks then I went right off it so I tried a few different flavours and settled on strawberry.

I've found over the last couple of weeks though that I've lost the taste so I think it's time for something new.

I've ordered 4 10ml bottles from JJ, stuck them in the cupboard but I'm getting impatient to try them!

I'm currently using a spinner and a protank 2 which is working super for me at the minute. I'm very tempted to have a little spend though after looking at all the shiney gear on here

Lynne77 - hi and a warm welcome You've certainly kicked those stinkies into touch, haven't you!!? Well done on your 6 months, and glad you have settled with a good choice of gear - Protank and Spinner is my out and about gear even now, especially when I'm gardening or kayaking, when it's small and easily hidden somewhere safe.
Good choice of juice too, JJ is a great vendor, with some great flavours too!!

I'm hoping so chykensa, I'm enjoying it much more than I did smoking, and there's so stink!

hi Lynne77 and you might have a bit of vapours tongue there if you can't taste the strawberry, have you tried using menthol? helps to clear up vapours tongue. we like shiney things
