Why daren;t you explore mechanical mods,.. i think everyone should atleast have one, electronics can go wrong and a mech mod is always a good back up to have, if you dont have any intentions of using something like a kick and want to keep things sleek you can get 14500 mech mods... keep in mind that only a few years back pretty much the only decent VV mod you could get was the Provari, that most people couldnt afford, so most people used mech mods anyway, as long as you dont go doing this sub ohm malarky they are fine ... its once you start doing sub ohms that you need to start gathering more knowledge. I just haven't got my brain fully into gear with the science of it all, despite reading some great and informative posts. Plus it would open up even more shinyitis possibilities, and I already have brain ache! No doubt I won't be able to help myself and will take the plunge eventually, but at this stage (1 week into vaping), I'd prefer to keep it simple (if excessive)!

Also, I am reading a lot about other "vaporizers" IYKWIM, and would welcome any advice/recommendations on that too, but I think not allowed on this forum? You are right kitty778 it is against forum rules & our hosts (proboards) rules. Thanks Chrissie ; understood. Thought it was worth testing the water as I have found such great help so far on this forum, and am preferring the general "vibe" here to other places. Hope no offence/irritation caused.

There isnt really any science in them until you start going down the sub ohm path, which i must admit i have never tried nor do i have any desire to, forums are a mine of information and people can learn a lot from them, on the other side i find a lot of people over complicate things..... Robert Ellis spells it out..... kinda ..

I succumbed to smoking on Wednesday (birthday drinks, only had one tailor made and one roll-up), because I didn't like how the sweetness of the two liquids I had with me (RY4 and menthol) tasted with beer. Are there any non-sweet liquids which taste ok?

RY4 and menthol together is repulsive ....lol.. im not surprised you dont like it, to be honest kitty taste is so so subjective, its just a case of trying them, to save money check the classifieds for trades or low cost sales, offer up what you have and dont like, the only thing i can think of is try thinking of a flavour that you might like in say food, or sweets, or drink and so on... then ask if anyone has had it before, again tho, they might love any given flavour and you might hate it.

Lol @agenthoover they weren't actually in the same tank at the time, but neither went well with beer!
I have been looking at the classifieds but at this stage I have nothing I want to part with; even liquids I'm not overly fond of have the potential to be mixed with others, which is just another form of shinyitis to me!

I know i suggested making your own but the more i think about it you are still left in the same position of finding what you like, it is however a lot cheaper especially once you find one that you do like...... have you not got a flavour in mind that you think.... mmmmm i would love some of that....lol

I don't have much of a sweet tooth, and I have a weird fruit allergy thing which is probably why I'm not excited by the various fruity offerings. I've got the teeniest bit of joelemite's blueberry at the moment and am finding it quite overpowering, flavour-wise. The ones I ordered yesterday are: Chef's Vapour: Honey and Lemon Menthol, Lews Brew, ABC, The Disciple Trolls Blood and The Jamaican Ginger Mrs Lord & Co: Rough Shag and Navy Cut Are there any eliquids which give you a caffeine-type kick?

If the flavour is over powering you can weaken it down with PG/VG however, doing that will reduce the nic content too and you would have to add more nic to get it back up to the level it was, you can get cappuccino and stuff like that but ive never tried it.... get some, and let me know ...lol

I was wondering if it was possible to absorb caffeine in the same way as nicotine, by vaping... I'm probably talking nonsense.

i'm vaping trolls blood an love it, so if you dont like it kitty778 when you get it you know where you can send it, and how about trying an MVP if you want something different to the V3 plus it will last you long on a charge than the V3 Don't worry about having the odd Smoke, your doing really well especially as you had no intention of stopping smoking in the 1st place edited to add you do know you can get savoury flavour ejuice it doesn't always have to be sweet

I was wondering if it was possible to absorb caffeine in the same way as nicotine, by vaping... I'm probably talking nonsense. I've seen a coffee liquid and a few energy drink flavours that say they contain caffeine, but I'm yet to see a liquid that has mentioned exactly how much caffeine it contains. The energy drink one I tried was pretty close to Red Bull in taste, although a lot weaker, but I didn't notice the caffeine in it. Then again I'm as addicted to caffeine as I am nicotine and it takes a lot of the stuff for me to notice any kick. It probably can be done, so I don't think you are talking nonsense, but I'm yet to see it done properly. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards
