silas I was going to catch the train as I'm not very good at driving any distance. I have ME so can get very tired. If you really wouldn't mind picking me up, I'd be more than happy to pay for your petrol

My wife suffers from fibromyalgia and had to give up driving altogether a few years ago.

Wouldn't the Royal Cornwall Showground be perfect for Vapefest 2015?

I've probably got more chance of a big lottery win and I don't waste money on tickets very often

Talking of tickets, I need to start looking at train times, I might have to head into Plymouth to head back down into Cornwall which isn't ideal!

The only way I could do Vapefest this year would have involved the sleeper from Plymouth to Paddington after a shift at work, a mad dash to Euston with all my gear and a train up to Shrewsbury via Crewe. I'd be shattered before I even arrived, not to mention much lighter of wallet which wouldn't be good!

To do it next year, I'm going to have to book as many Fridays in July and August off as possible when we can start to book odd days in about January and cancel the days I don't need.

My boss laughed at me when I asked about the possibility of having this Friday off shortly after the date was announced. But it isn't his fault that the holiday system is so crap and he can't help most of us wanting time off at this time of year.

So I'll have a lovely afternoon much closer to home instead! A shame about the 2100-0500 night shift I'll be doing later that day and having to go 24 hours without sleep to fit everything in, but a lad has to pay for his vaping stuff somehow
