Only having an Aga T2 as a genny-style atomiser can be a challenge sometimes. Those tiny wee knurled nuts. When tightened they take the wire for a dosey-do and short out on the coil. The little insulators that break. But when it works it's a beaut.
So the latest thing was, the centre post just would. not. sit still, couldn't mount the T2 on anything, the centre post would float upwards and byebye connection. Irritating as heck. Until... "Hello my name is Heath Robinson and here's a fix for your problem".
The fix, simplicity itself, was to clip a thin bit of bog standard insulation tape off a roll, and wind it on the post at the base. So limiting it's ability to float. It still will move upwards, but the tape barrier ensures a connection is made. Got it working on the FT Hana right now.
I had forgotten the juice in it was one I didn't particularly like, that's gotta go!

The spare glass used to be about a fiver, you could use a section of a syringe tube or any plastic tube if you don't use tank cranking juices. Measurements: Inner dia: 16.2 mm Outer dia: 20 mm Height: 22.9 mm
