Watching all the death and destruction on the news with a heavy heart, went outside with the wooftie and heard 3 owls and more talking to each other, at least two from a big ash tree next to the garden. Listened to the conversations, screeches and hoots, and saw, yup saw, two owls fly off over the field towards a hooting owl. it doesn't stop the wars or fighting, nor does it in anyway help those suffering, but it did remind me how very, very lucky I am.

I love owls too- Owl Curry 1) Brown the onions and celery in a frying pan for around 10 minutes on a high heat 2) Add the owl, turning until cooked through After about 5 minutes, turn down the heat and add the veg, sultanas, coconut, curry paste and some cumin and turmeric. Simmer for around ten minutes 3) Shortly before serving, mix in the cream and stir well Serve with pilau or long grain rice

dagl - the most important thing is that when you rotate the owl to cook it evenly on the "other" side, you make sure the head turns too, because their heads can turn all the way round, so you might overcook one side of it because the body turned but the head stayed in the same place.
