Hi. I'm a new member, been reading a lot, would like to come along if I can get away. May camp up the road at a nice pub I know not too far away, but possibly drive there and back same day. What time do most of youse get there, and do you plan to eat in the pub. Anybody know if i could park my camper in the car park for the night?! Would make it a lot easier for me.

Hi franda they do decent food at the pub, some of us no doubt will eat, others are on a strict 'liquid only' diet!! There is plenty of room in the carpark for a camper too ! Come meet us, we're a friendly enough bunch of reprobates

Some of us will be there by 2ish, and some a little later 5 or 6.

Hi. Thanks for that. I was wondering if I would be able to stop in the camper overnight in the car park... Probably best if I give them a call I guess. If not will most likely drive there and back as I don't have a dog sitter!
If I'm driving I'm afraid I won't be one of those on a liquid only diet.

Give them a tinkle and explain that your meeting us there, I'm sure they won't mind you staying in the car park they are very friendly and accommodating to us.

Yes, I might just do that. Sorry about not doing the 'hello' thing, just saw this and realised actually had a free weekend, so thought I'd just find out a bit more.

I've just been looking through the thread to see who wanted laptop batteries and I could only see 4:-

I've put you all down for 2(each should have 4 or 5 good 18650s inside). Please feel free to request more if you think you'll use them or if anybody else wants any just say, I really don't mind. I will also show anyone how to strip them if needed.

Of coarse, I've added 'em to the list- otherwise I end up making a list to remind me of all the other lists I've made. This memory thing must happen to everyone in their late 40s, or is it just me.
