I've been using the naturevape coils for a while now and they are great. I'm not sure though how to tell if they need replacing. Do they just stop working, or just diminish in some way?
cheers Franda

I'm using 2.0 ohm on my istick and it goes down to 4.5 watts. The istick only goes down or up to the watts it thinks can cope with the if this helps franda. Sorry can't help with jonco coils as I make my own. Thanks Babs, that's what I was after. I think the NV coils are 1.4, and I got a message from jonco that he can make to request as far as resistance goes. So as I really like the NV coils and rewick with jap cotton, it seems jonco's will be an option, maybe at 2 ohms. Please no one suggest building my own coils, this is not a hobby for me, just a way to keep off the cigs. Thanks again.

It won't go any lower than about 5.7 watts, on the istick, ( as I mentioned in my post...)I think because of the ohmage of the coils. It's been reported that that will be equivalent to a higher wattage on the MVP (pbusardo etc). They are a single microcoil and wick absolutely perfectly. I just find the taste a bit too hot on the istick. I have plenty of dual coils as mentioned above, but have been completely converted to the single micro coils on the egos and MVP. So what I was asking...
Are the jonco coils higher resistance, and will that enable me to go lower watts on the istick (ohms law knowledge lacking here)
ETA I probably don't mean burnt 'hit' but burnt flavour, certainly not a dry hit. I just prefer a lower temperature vape.

So, a question for you guys. I've been using the naturevape coils for a couple of months now, and they've been great, using them on a standard ego battery and the MVP2. (Low wattage) However, on the istick I can't get the wattage low enough and seem to be just on the verge of getting burnt hits. i have aspire BVC, BDC and nautilus mini with BVC, and just don't like them as much as a protank mini 2 with NV coil. Am I right in thinking that jonco's coils are higher resistance, but otherwise much the same as NV, and that this should enable me to get the watts/volts a bit lower on the istick?

I've just been buying very low or no nicotine versions of my fave flavours to mix, that way I can use up the high stuff. Waste not want not etc.

Yes, it's very nice. Teamed with mini protank and naturevape coils, hits very hard. I have just reduced from 12 to 9mg nic and think I need to go even lower, feel a bit light headed... Does that make sense? Would a different battery have that effect?

Hi. I've got a few juices that I don't want, shall I bring them along? They're going to be dumped otherwise.

Welcome franda Interesting you have gone completely off fruits where as I have only just recently started to enjoy them xD I guess we are all different and it all depends what we try at what times and stages of our vaping life. Welcome to our community Yes, it's really odd, was using raspberry and strawberry with a drop of menthol for over a year, now all I can taste is chemicals. I wonder if it's because the NV coils are so good at imparting flavour... Anyway, I ordered some vaping kings jester juice as it had good reviews, but really don't like it. Maybe leave for another few weeks. Their Yorkshire Fog on the other hand, is my current fave.

Hi. I'm a fairly new member, been vaping on and off since 2008. Lipton tea bag mods anyone? Well back then it was hit and miss as far as getting completely off cigs for me. But in the last year with all the new innovations I have been more successful. Have had several periods of no cigs for weeks, interspersed with a few weekends away when I might have a few. Currently at about five weeks only on the vape, no cravings, but not saying I won't ever have a real one again, and that suits me fine. I use mainly ego batteries and aspire or mini protank with naturevape coils. Have an MVP, which I bought for camping weekends, for its great battery life. Also have an eroll, which is great for out and about. And a kamry pipe in purple for chilling out on campsites. Favourite juices now custards, Yorkshire Fog and black gold. Do some mixing and some bought stuff. Have gone completely off fruits, they just taste very harsh to me at the moment. Hoping to get to the Prestleigh meet this weekend, as I don't know any vapers, all my friends were very sensible and either gave up cigs years ago, or never started...
ETA I have absolutely no intention to build coils or drip, or any of that hobbyist stuff, rewicking the nv coils is enough for me, all I want is to keep off the cigs the easiest way possible....

Yes, I might just do that. Sorry about not doing the 'hello' thing, just saw this and realised actually had a free weekend, so thought I'd just find out a bit more.
