well done Wisher, wait until the Winter when your hubby has to go out in the cold etc to have a ciggie and you can stay cosy indoors that will be the time the 'light bulb' will come on in his head, just have tunnel vision and stay vaping not stinking and you'll be fine

I've been vaping the best part of 2 years now, and my wife decided 3 weeks ago to give it a go too, and she hasn't had a smoke since. It may take time, but will be worth it in the end.
I didn't preach or try to convert the OH, she decided herself, and is now saving about £20/wk on fags which I can now spend on juice ingredients to mix up some tasty offerings for us both - result!!

I have lots to keep me busy today. even thou the weekly shopping has been delivered with cigarettes in it. I'm not tempted at all..

I didn't enjoy my last cigarette last night and I need to remember that.
I didn't tell anyone at work as none of them smoke anyway (I'm the only one) so it wont cross there mind. I'll still go outside for a vape and it means I wont get the "hows it going, are you pulling your hair out yet" or "you must be dyeing for a fag" all the time.

I can be very stubborn sometimes, so I have it straight in my head THATS IT. NO MORE.

Hopefully OH will have less cos I'm not going outside for a smoke with him. But its normally the chance we have to have a good old natter about our day or put the world to rights without the distraction of laptops and tv. but oh well it will have to change.
so thanks everyone. I'm sure I'll do just fine.

well i'm on day 5 now... and sooo loving it....
yep you have to have it straight in your head thats what your going to do.

I'm loving vapeing ,, I'm not missing stinkys AT ALL. and I'm giddy with happiness. I'm finally FREE YEAHHHHH..
I know it's still early days for me. but I'm so happy.. sense of smell is getting better and taste..
I'm so positive about it.

Loveing the simple kit I've got,I have my faith in what I'm useing.(Lots of spares) finding GSH2's to be abit hit and miss. one works great no problems for 2 weeks with no leaks then just leaks on the battery. then another one starts leaking within 2 days. so abit hit and miss with them. giving up with the CE5's and CE4's, just to many issues. still got my Mini protack2 (just need to get a coil) but was working great..

trying the new T8 SAX. Wow. just came this morning and it's cool... lights up and everything.. easy to fill. see how it gets on before buying anymore. but lovely vapour clean taste. I dont mind the disposable clearos. if they last more then a week. and bottem coils I like more.

Wait until you get that proper urge to "Just see what a ciggy tastes like" and then run to the sink to throw up. I tried about 2 weeks in out of curiosity and omg how bad i felt.

As for the OH, well >>>>> Mine smokes when having a beer, she tried and enjoyed vaping a little when i started (usually for the last hour of a night) but i think it was a novelty for her and she stopped asking for my ego and clearo after about the fourth time Then whenever i mentioned it she screws her face up and says NO. So i have to deal with the smell and smoke getting my throat when she first lights up (I don't notice after a while) but my biggest gripe is the bloody ashtray cleaning in the morning. Mmmmmmm Stale hot water ash steamy vape. YUK.

Then the other night she asked for a vape with some cherry juice. again for about an hour. So I';ve told her, she either stops pissing about and gives it a go or don't bother lol.
Then it all came out. She feels intimidated by my big mods and would quite like a little battery of her own. Now muggins here has got to shop once paid.
I think she sees me wiping batteries, filling tanks, mixing, charging, making coils, dripping and feels a bit overwhelmed. But as you have found out, it becomes second nature and certainly no more difficult than rolling rollups. i think she want's something that just works and requires no maintenance and that ain't gonna happen unless she goes with pre filled carts and cigalikes i suppose.

Anyway.

Keep it up and reap the benefits.

You will get all the help you need here, no question is stupid and have a laugh too.

I got ages ago 2 small 350mha batterys and the GSH2's for work as it wasnt heavy around my neck (made a small black lace slip 3inches long) and attached the lanyard clip to it. so it hangs straight. it's abit more girly and very simple kit. only 11cm long.
I do find the whole mixing and mobs abit scarey (not ready for any of that), keeping it simple, for me smaller is better. maybe your OH may like the smaller battery better, yeah recharge every evening with one spare..

I'm sure both our OH's will get there one day. when they are ready.

The time sound good to give vaping a go wisher.

I don't know how many ciggies you and your hubby get through in a day, but I was on 40 super king a day when I changed to vaping.
It took me a month of cutting down on the fags and upping the vapes until I went 100% vaping. Oh, and an evening of torrential rain when I had run out of fags and didn't fancy getting soaked walking across the village green to buy more.

When your spending £15.50 (40 super king back then, don't know how much they cost these days) a day on fags, vaping is a huge saving.
Year one;- about £2000 spent on vaping gear and the rest bought a s/h caravan and new decking for the back garden.
Year two;- about £300 spent on vaping stuff and the rest spent on gear for the caravan, all our site fees for 2014, the down payment on a new car, 3 rooms of the house revamped, the whole of the outside of the house painted and new ramps put in front and back. Also a fair bit spent on the garden.

Yes, vaping is good, but the money saved is fantastic.

Oh, and please excuse me for not being on here too often, but we are rather busy lying on beaches or walking our dogs through strange to us forests as we enjoy exploring the countryside around some of the great caravan sites that we have found this year.

Only 3 months of decent caravanning left!!!!!
Time to pack my Vaping Kit and hit the road again.
