Wrecked Protank3 mini

Went to try some new juice this am.  Thought I'd put it in my clean Protank 3 Mini.  No matter what I tried I couldn't undo it.  Hubby just come in and tried on bench vice still no joy.  Eventually got them separated and one slightly damaged section later you could see a load of swarf on the threads.  Not moaning at hubby he tried all he could but this thing was seized solid. 

Down side - no Protank3 Mini
Upside - I now have spares for when I replace it

Here is a tip that will save you cross threading anything ever again.

Before you screw on clockwise, go anti-clockwise first, until you feel a click, then start to screw it in clockwise. The click you will feel is the 2 threads finding their start point.

could you not put on a thin layer of vaseline would that help?

you would think I was a alcoholic wouldn't you but the truth is I work that many hours I don't drink at all but when I am off I like a pint or twelve

and why not we all need a drink now and then,
