I seem to be killing coils at a ridiculous rate.
The first set-up I bought was an aspire ET-S,utilising Aspire BDC coils. They last me around 24 hours before they die. I soon got fed up with this and after a bit of research I bought a Nature Vape mini pro-tank.It arrived on Friday, performance seems to have been declining at a steady rate despite replacing the cotton wool wick daily and today (Monday) it died altogether.
I consider myself to be a gentle, low impact kind of fella and my hardware has suffered no rough treatment. I have been vaping Dekang 24mg Cuban Cigar.Choice has been limited because the local vape shop only stocks Dekang.I'm aware that tobacco juice can be rough on coils but this DK stuff seems very synthetic,it's not an absolute extract and it's virtually clear.I always prime the coils and let them sit in a full tank for a few minutes before firing them up.
Am I getting something wrong?
I'm a genuine, original skint person and could really do without replacing the things on a daily basis.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

When you say died altogether what do you mean?
I vape custard. Like tobacco it's known to gunk coils up pretty quickly. I change the wick on my nvape coil once a week. Have vaped with the same coil all day every day since April. I don't even let it soak after changing it. I do pre juice the wick (if I remember). A few primer puffs and off I vape.
As above what wattage?
I believe the nvape could are 1.4ohm.

I have vaped Hangsen USA mix for over 18 months and it clogs everything quickly. when I used cartomisers it was a nightmare, some of them wouldn't clean after one use and went to 100 % PG, which helped a little, though the main benefits were less clouds and more flavour. Now I mix my own juice (still Hangsen USA mix) comes out at less than 5p per ml id you buy in bulk and use rebuildables. Focal have had Kayfun clones for less than £10 on group buys, Kanthal is cheap and organic cw balls or even better Rayon is silly cheap, it is more work, but once you get into the swing of it (YMMV) it is easy enough IMO. I have been using Rayon for over a month and the max I have had out of it is 4 tanks and some are getting a couple of weeks. The other solution is to find another flavour, I spent too much on this in the past so going to try loads at Vape Fest.
Easy way to tell if it's your juice is to try something completely different, my Master Mind specialist subject would be the bleeding obvious.

I know you said your local juice stockist has only limited supplies but I'd look at trying to get hold of some different juice .... From what I've read about nature vape coils they are supposed to last ages.... But like the others have said it would be handy to know what kit you are using Vw/eGos/ mech and what power you are using .... Changing the CW wick ever day also seems excessive ... Something isn't quite right

Hi Silas, yip something is wrong, as your coils should last longer than that. Someone with more knowledge than I, will be along shortly. But for a future bargain, see the link below, www.vapershed.com/storev2/open-product.php?page=viewproduct&product=atomisers-protanks-mini-protank That's s a mini protank and total of 3 coils. for £4-09. They sell coils on the same site for £1-29. So the price of 3 coils is £3-87. That works out at 21p for the Mini Protank, plus postage. Have bought them myself, brill. When the coils you receive eventually die, send them to jonco a fellow member on this site, to be re-furbished as a Micro Coil with Cotton Wool wick. That should help cut costs down. Until you learn to build your own coils, and by the way, also look into making your own juice. That is very easy to do, I found. Ref coils, still learning. Old eyes. All the info you need is right here on this Forum. Just ask them. Me, I am also a very slow typist, bet you have solved your problem and had many replies before I hit the post key. Edit. Even slower than I thought.

Thank you for all the responses, nice crowd on this forum.
So,new developments....
The N-vape really was dead.I tried a dry burn to clean it and nothing happened so I checked it with a multi meter and got no reading. So I took it apart and low and behold one coil leg was broken.Seems I'm not quite as low impact as I thought.
I unwound 1 turn of the coil to make a new leg and put it back together. It now reads 1.3 ohms and is chugging away like a madman. It also now has 1 res and 1 non-res leg.Not expecting it to have much of a lifespan in this condition but I've learned a lot from the experience,my first crack at coil building.
I think the problem is the juice. The n-vape has needed cleaning and re-wicking daily because it gets a black crust over the coil. The BDC's (1.6 and 1.8) just stop producing vapour after 24 hours although they still show the correct resistance.I will take one apart tomorrow and have a look,I'm expecting it to be full of crap.
A couple of hours ago I ordered a selection of new juice from LT ecigs.I'm now planning to phone them in the morning and ask if they can add a pack of res/non res wire to my order so I can keep re-building the n-vape coil myself.
I have been running the n-vape at 3.2v -3.6v and the BDC's at about 3.5 -4.
Chrissie I will get down to Cambourne if I can.Trouble is I have a 5 year old daughter permanently in tow and she won't be too keen.If I can get my Mum to have her for the day I'll be there for sure.I'd love to come.

silas i am sure I can find someone to look after your daughter if your mum can't. My shop is attached to my house so she wouldn't be very far from you and would be able to pop into the shop to see you and you could check on her regularly. My daughter could do loom bands with her or some baking. My daughter is a Beaver Leader until September when she goes to Uni.

Hi silasI use LTecigs liquids and sometimes go for 2 weeks before doing a dry burn and rewick without any problem. I know NV use nr-r-nr wires, but you could use plain A1 kanthal to make the coils with. You would find that you could use thicker wire than the premade nr-r-nr ones, and they would have a better lifespan, and the wire is cheaper than premade welded wires I use a .30 or .32 wire to get 1.5 Ohm coils. You may as well use the ones you have, but bookmark vape-atomizer-mesh for when you need more wire.

Thanks Hijack,
I placed an order with LT last night so I'm planning to phone them this morning and asking if they could send some wire with that.
My local vape shop (Vapourized in St Austell) doesn't stock wick material or coil wire.
