Great bit of kit kitty778 and fantastic battery life. Set it in variable wattage mode then it doesn't matter which atty you use with it. The main known niggle is tightening atties too hard can cause the positive pin to stick down so some atties don't make a connection and you have to gently prise the pin back up. If you use an atty with a 510 connector use the beauty ring as this may assists in preventing the above pin issues. There isn't a best power setting, just start low at say 6.5 watts and work your way up slowly in 0.5 watt increments until your satisfied with the vape, if you start to get a burnt taste turn it back down. Enjoy Thank you very much for mentioning that advice GregSome of my iclear atties havent been making a connection lately no matter what I try, I'll look out for this in the future Yeh its a good bit of kit, that shouldn't give you any problems.
Just don't over tighten the clearo's on it. screw them on till you make a contact then twist the beauty ring up to met the clearo. This will get rid of any 'wobble' that you may have from not tightening down the clearo hard onto the mod, and will prevent the centre pin from being pushed down.
Apart from that it should perform much like the v3, you should find your perfect setting will be close to that.

Again, great advice. I know my Dad mentioned this to me, but I normally just screwed my tanks down tight until they stopped moving. Looks like I'll have to change my ways now that I've fixed the pin

Looks like I'll have to change my ways now that I've fixed the pin I used to do the same thing until I realised that ring wasn't just for making larger tanks look better on the spinner, but could be used to secure a wobbly clearo. Then the penny dropped and I realised that I had been over-tightening my attys.

I seem to have a lot of moisture accumulating in the mouthpiece. And it isn't as easy to pull on as the v3, despite various setting tweaks. (This might be because I can't work out whether or not I can fit my airflow controller...)
What am I doing wrong?

funny i have both the MVP and VTR bought both the same time only had them for a week, but keep reaching for the MVP at mo, it does't like my aerotank but think that's a coil issue i've had dud coils, as my vtr doesn't like it either, i've found that with my protank depending on the juice u 3.7-3.9 and p 7.5-9.0 is the best for me, but i change it if i use another tank to get the same flavour hit as i do with the protank, but i'm still playing around with mine, don't get me wrong i love my VTR, but i tend to use that one in the evening and my MVP during the day when out and about and doing things around the home going to bling it up today,

Best combo I've had is MVP with nautilus on it with the new bvc coils. I use it daily as my ADV gear. I have noticed though the bvc coils do not like custard VG heavy mixes 70 VG 30 pg. Clogged the coil up had to clean coil in vodka for few hours. As others have said don't overtightened the Atty and all is good very easy to use. Durable and easy to clean apart from the top connection if you get a leaky Atty the best way I have found is to use cotton buds but with the nautilus this is not a problem, more of an issue with the iclear tanks.

I've got 4 MVP'S, a V1 and 3 V2's. The V1 is still going strong but 2 of the V2s have suffered from severe centre pin issues. I've changed the grommet god knows how many times. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back, my Dad was rushed into hospital, sitting in hospital car park giving it a tanking and it decided to short out. It is now sitting in the cupboard in pieces, a great bit of kit but very frustrating. Its now under construction to replace the 510/ego connector with a spring loaded 510 connector. Hopefully if this works that will be an end to my MVP woes. Will keep you all posted with the conversion, success or fail.

You can either remove the driptip and poke the cotton bud inside or most tips have a big enough hole that you can just stick the cotton bud down and it will soak up a fair bit of the excess.

(This might be because I can't work out whether or not I can fit my airflow controller...) What am I doing wrong? It's perfectly natural and happens with almost every setup. I don't notice it on my metal drip tips, but I know its there. When I switch to my big plastic see-through drip tip though, its very obvious to see the condensation, which in a way I think makes a cool effect. Nothing to worry about

If it's the iClear30 that comes with the MVP, some moisture would be normal. Most clearos suffer a little bit with this, some worse than others.

Sweet! Was it a tricky job? There's a detailed explanation on page 2 of the above thread. The trickiest part is cutting the back corner out the pcb frame attached to the top cap to allow enough room for the securing nut for the 510 to sit in place. When you open up the device and see what has to be done its not too difficult, but on the other hand it could easily go wrong. I used the super-shiny advice "plan well ahead" before I tackled it.
