So we missed Vapefest today. Gutted but as a consolation i just wicked up my new Kayfun 2.1 clone from One Stop Mod Shop and it is working a treat. I have seen so many videos on leaking etc with these but no issues what so ever. Very happy with it sat on my Vaporshark DNA 30.
1.3 ohms at 15 watts. Beautiful.
Sent from me from some far away land.

Would you like some Roscopecotrain? I still have enough to wrap around a new trans-atlantic undersea communications link

I picked up a kayfun mini clone from the classies a few days ago. Loving the look of it and gives a damn tasty vape when it's working properly. Still fine tuning my preferred set up on it so far. The guy i got it off was having problems with it leaking but first few times i set it up i was having the opposite problem and getting a fair few dry hits. This evening i've just tried setting it up with some rayon that davetherayon kindly sent me and it was wicking brilliantly for the first few puffs and thought i'd cracked it but soon decided to start pissing out of the air hole.... so gave up on that idea and threaded through some cotton again and now that's just leaked a bit out of the air hole as well... Can't quite win with it yet but i'll keep trying Think mine is the tobeco clone, might pick up one of the ivogo ones from somewhere as i've heard people have more success with them

sonicflowjoe a bit of rayon wicking info Draw out the rayon, so it's lined up with your coil, and visually measure 3 times its width, then draw off that amount of rayon. Grab an end, and twist it so you can thread it thru the wick. If it's too thin at the tip, either snip it off, or double it back on itself to thicken up a bit. Once its threaded through, pull it gently while also VERY gently pulling back from the other side, to keep a bit of tension. The 'sweet spot' is where you can literally HEAR a bit of squeaking in the coil, that means the coil is stuffed but it's not moving the coil itself. Clip it off at each end leaving enough to drape down and NOT block the wee juice channels. Drip juice on the coil, then on the rayon, bit by bit, till you can see the rayon is full of juice. Push the rayon back onto the walls of the Kayfun, put the chimney on, and do a trial vape. If its not shorting (that'll be your coil or the clipped ends doing that) then reassemble, fill and vape. Toot toot!

I hope you have more luck with your clone than I did! I picked up the tobeco mini a couple of months ago and just could not get it wicking properly! At the time I was using a 1.8mm micro coil with cotton. I've since considered trying a nano coil with rayon as I'm wondering if the tiny build deck would work better with a smaller coil and less wick. But is things stand, I'm using it in dripper mode to try out new juices so all is not lost!

I have had no issues, chucked in a micro coil with 8 wraps, some cotton wick and then filled via the fill valve and away it went. Had no leaking what so ever, it has been spot on so far. I will re build it again before the review just to make sure it was not beginners luck.

From my understanding the tobecco clone slightly from the ivogo clone. The ivogo has been getting reviews as the clear tank section bulges which allows juice flow to the deck and coil. The tobacco version has a straight clear tank section and is known to cause wicking problems. IIRC one stop mod shop sell the ivogo clone
