Mine just delivered. Thumbs Up
My first impressions.
Looks a nice little thing. Does have the Elegant Vapour logo on it which does not bother me. I thought that the touch button had a nasty scratch but is in fact covered with some peel off plastic, as is the screen and the star spangled bit opposite the screen. Push buttons have a nice click Couple of tiny bits of glue on the outside of the lid which came off with a bit of isopropanol. Cover fits perfectly with no overhang. Taken the cover off and looks nice and clean inside. Just popped in a high amp Efest and attached an Aerotank. The 510 is protrudes by a fraction, just enough to stop the attie for marking the top. Taken a few tokes and it seems fine. Did the lick test on the touch button and yes it does continue to fire for a few seconds after but soon switches off, but if it becomes a problem, then I can isolate it. Once it stopped firing and once the screen goes out, the touch sensor button cannot be activated until you have pressed the manual fire button.
So far all seems fine for me, certainly nothing like the dog that PBusardo reviewed, and for the low price, I am very pleased but early days yet.
The free VTC5 shows 3.8v so that is now on charge, so more later after I have used it more.
Cheers
Neil

Just to confirm, so if I get a short mid firing it is likely to break board at very least though? I don't know, but from the video it seems very possible if it was a short that would take over 50 W, maybe the board can handle over 100 W, maybe the board is protected and will cut out when things get to extreme we just get snippets of info and are trying to complete a jigsaw with only half the pieces. Thinking about it I don't know how happy I would be with my ADV which is dual steel rope Kraken as if the rope touched the centre post while firing that could take a lot of power, but maybe there is a fail-safe in there. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed I guess!!!

So, I have charged the battery and had a play. Using a Nature Vape Mini and NV coil, wow. I have been using a VTR and normally vape at 13w but now using same attie/coil with Custardy Lovechild and I have had to drop to 9w on the IPV2. It is an excellent vape. Also tried a brand new Nautilus Mini with 1.8ohm BVC coil and I am getting an odd taste ??? The first toke on the Nautilus had a bit of a burnt taste even though I had let it soak for 5 minutes, so I let it soak some more and now the taste is not burnt....just odd. I may have to get a big boys dripper and build some larger coils. I want to get the big flavour and vapour. I have never used a duel coil other than the pre-built Kanger heads and got to a stage where I now rip the coils out from new and rebuild with a home made single Nature Vape style nr/res/nr coil. Any advice on the sort of attie/dripper to get that will work across the range of the IPV2 . The FT Magma style dripper looks quite good.
Cheers

Cheers Neil Would of thought the magma ain't got enough air for the higher watts, not got one though, its waiting patiently in my fasttech basket.
I've been using the EV-D1 on it and works a treat at all watts as it has massive airholes and fins that cool the vape, also cheap!www.elegantvapour.co.uk/atomizers/rebuildables/dripping/ev-d1-atty-style-rda.html
basically any of drippers people use for cloud chasing would be good though... this is my only massive airhole rda

That said, I'm mostly using it at 30-40watts with airholes half closed for flavour.

Just an update for others that might read this thread, I took the plunge & decided to order one yesterday from Matt @m-Vapes (must say...excellent service, ordered at 12.30pm, dispatched by 3pm & delivered the next day by 1pm)..........Its got a 1yr guarantee so "Dr Pepper" (whats the worst that can happen;-)) All I can say is WOW....I hope it keeps performing like it is, brilliant vapour & I can now actually taste the flavour now in the home made juice ive been making :-).......... Im a happy vapour !
Only niggles are some of the ones people have already mentioned.....the tiny screws are stupid......like concrete parachute stupid!, if youve got fat fingers your gonna have a nightmare putting them back in! Few scratches over the touch sensor (which ive turned off & doubt will use) & over the LCD but it is a £65 unit! If it was a £165 unit then I'd be fecked off...& Ive got a stock 1.8ohm nautilus coil but the display was readong 2.0ohms at first & now its reading 1.9ohm.......... which doesnt really bother me. And did I really need to pay the extra & get the 50w one?..(guess its there if i do need it)..Ive found a sweet spot at 11w & its the bees knees, im struggling to put it down! Pbusardo must have been unlucky & if I were him I would have sent it back for a replacement.......no excess glue on mine & the battery cover fits fine ;-) To sum it up.....
(just noticed people saying the screens have a plastic coating on them.....might leave mine on to protect the plastic a bit longer)
