Hey up I was wondering if i mixed up a 12mg base liquid will it keep ok. From the looks a things most flavourings are added at 20% (well the meager selection I have till my bank balance improves) so I thought it might make things easier to keep some ready made in hand for them moments when Im short a time so I can just add a flavour n away I go, unless it needs loads a steeping time then I will be patience (hmmmmmm). Also if i made a mix and i find it a tad on the strong side (like me afro dizziac) can I just add it to that to dilute the flavour a little x

I make up an unflavoured base of about 12mg 40/60 and then add the percentage needed of flavouring to a 10ml bottle (often by eye as 20% is a fifth) its not massively accurate but its convenient! but then I'm not so bothered if my mixes have differing nicotine strength as anything between 6-10mg is fine by me! I make up a 200ml bottle of unflavoured base using an empty Boots VG bottle and I use it up within a few weeks so its just handy and swiftly available if I'm not in teh mood for a comcentrated mixing session (which is all the time for me alas)I make my base 40% pg and 60% vg as flavouring is normally suspended in pg and adding up to 20% will even my mix to around about 50/50 which is my prefered combo. Again, I'm not so bothered about a few percent off here or there...it works well enough for me

I also do the same and make up a base of 12mg in batches of 200ml, keep in the fridge and add flavouring as required to mix up 15ml or 10ml flavoured at a time. Actually as I make up two 100ml bottles, one goes in the fridge to use and other goes in freezer. Saves a lot of time and mucking about.
I also for my favourite recipes calculated the ratios of flavourings and pre mix them as well so now for my favourite recipes I just add the premixed flavouring to the premixed base. For my recipes, I have found it works well.

Its more: arent I lazy!
I found that I started getting a sense of dread laying out ALL my mixing gear on table and by time I'd set everything up I'd gone off mixing..... so this way works for when I see i'm low on my mainstay juices and as a swift new flavour test, all I need is to grab an empty bottle and a single syringe

Its a great idea, I'm running very low on my mainstay vape and I've been trying to find time for the past few days to mix some more, I was thinking along the lines stated above to make it easier/quicker. I might JUST have to do it

I am even more lazy and use cheap electronic scales now. Have converted everything to weight using specific weights for PG, VG, AG vodka or whatever and really speeds up measuring liquids. For example my base PG/VG mic has a specific weight of 1.208mg per ml. And works out adding flavouring at 10% volume is 8% by weight. So for 10mg base I add .8ml. Easy to drip into bottle and no syringes to wash out. The simple way of course is just to add a measured 10ml of base and see what weight it is, add 10% flavouring and see what weight it adds and use those figures for future mixes. If you have shaken a bottle up and is full of air bubbles then it does not matter when weighing. Using a syringe you have to weight wait for bubbles to rise out of liquid.

Liking the sound of that Brambles. Might have to give that a whirl. It gets annoying having to constantly rinse out syringes when on a mixing session.
