I have a number of hobbies that also have forums for them and many times I have tried to be helpful to the members on these sites, but invariably I hear nothing more about what I have taken the time to write about.

On here its different. The mere fact that someone has "liked" my posts and said so, means a lot.

It makes me feel that I have contributed something worthwhile to this great forum.
