vamo for me works well and quite reliable if you get it from fasttech I have seen loads live well past a year and nice and cheap and a 9 day delivery on average to me or f*cal average 43 day delivery arrives dead total sub standard rubbish I would give them a miss myself though lots of British company's selling them reasonable as well easiest mod to keep working as well as parts are available but sometimes it works out cheaper to buy another one
I would recommend buying two from fasttech

The dani dicodes looks great with a kayfun on it. Its vw and hits brilliantly. I've the 18350 version and absolutely love it. Prefer it to my provari tbh. The vapour shark dna30 is a great wee mod as well. And the battery lasts ages

For me its still the Vamo - my V2 is nearing 14 months old, has taken a few knocks but still gives the best vape on any of my devices. Best £15 I ever spent at FT.
I am really lusting after one of those pretty little vapour sharks though - even though I don't really like box mods

Fits lovely in a shirt pocket with a mini Nautilus on top and so easy to change your wattage.

Biggest factor is box or tube?
For tube it has to be the svd or evic. For box the mvp2 or vtr.
Top budget and it's definitely the Dani extreme. Outclasses the provari on almost everything!

I'm watching this thread with interest. I have a couple of Vamos (one currently dead) and apart from Spinners, which the OH uses, I have an Atom and Caravela mech mod from FT, both quite excellent and my 'go-to's at the moment. As long as my mods are silver and tubular, the OH won't really notice the difference, and I'm careful not to leave them both lying around at the same time! Can't really see myself with a box mod, even an MVP2, as I prefer cylindrical. Keep the posts coming, it is interesting to see what people recommend

I do love the idea of a vtr, smaller than a vamo/ zmax compact better fit in pocket if only they made it so all/ most heads fitted in then I would go for it but I cant see myself using anything but the kayfun 3.1 / lite anymore as the vape from them is soooo good, the other box mods are viable however with a kayfun on top I may as well use a tube type as they don't give the benefit of reduced size like the VTR and some of the tubes look terrific. I have even looked through the 100 odd whats in your hand thread to see what you guys are using and see loads that I would like BUT then think well that's a mech so I wont get 9.5w out of it etc etc, you no what it is don't you there are just too many to choose from, I no what a woman feels like in a shoe shop now

ok I have got a Vamo v5 and 2 Sigelli z max and a EHpro mech mod, I like the Vamo but need a backup as both my zmax's have button issues so I wont be buying another of those, been looking around and like the look of almost all of em coz there shiny but I was wondering what you guys are using and what u think of them, nothing that I would need a bank loan to afford but something that lasts longer than 12 months and does a good job with a kayfun 3.1 or lite on top at about 9.5w ( that seems to be my lvl to vape at with a 1.4 ohm build)
Not exactly all shiny, except for the Nemesis. Jimmy Jack = VV, old silver DNA 30 = VW and the MVP2 with 510 spring loaded conversion = VV/VW. I use the MVP 2 and the Nemesis everyday at work, the other two seldom leave the house. They all work well with a Kayfun which, as you will see from the picture are all clones and are my preferred topper. Next on my to "get list" is a Spheroid but don't know how it would look on any of these devices.

You would need to use the extension which kind of defeats the benefit of the VTR. Another option would be the Hana Modz v3 clone or mini with the chinese DNA30 board.
