There are two rebuildables I'd recommend that fit the vtr without modification. The bt804 dream (kind of kayfun clone) and the Taifun GS. If you have a dremel however you can fit anything up to 22mm in diameter which broadens the spectrum of what you could use. I have a kayfun 3.1 on mine and luv it When you mention dremel, do you mean remove the ring or have you managed to grind it down so that it fits a 22mm atty? I've been meaning to try something like this for a while but would like to keep the ring and not make is so thin that it'll easily break. The largest atty you will fit with the ring intact is 20mm. Not a lot of room for improvement there. To fit anything larger (up to 22mm) you'll need to remove the ring and also grind the lip off so the entire space is flush up and down.

Thanks Dan, Thought as much. It's not something I'm happy doing at the moment but I may have a moment of madness at some point and attack the thing with the dremel

Not a problem In honesty I could've done a lot better if I wasn't rushing around to get it done. Wrap is from j wraps in america. Again, I rushed the fitting of that too I only wrapped it as it's my 'out and about mod'. Didn't like the polished finish (which is deadly if it catches the sun whilst driving). There it is in it's home. Nice and handy!

OK. I need one then. can they take microcoil. same rebuild as kayfun right? Sent from the outer reaches of space using a Samsung S3. Little more complicated than the kayfun. Best results have been microcoil with cotton, and then either mesh or steel rope in the wick holes. There's a few threads on ukv. Here's oneand another (more in depth)I'm sorry I've been in airports and flying all day but I have done homage to the shinyitis and bought the clone from vapegeek Yay The second thread you mentioned is really good Should be able to microcoil it with cotton ta muchly Jane

I just got the taifun gs clone from vapegeek I think.... Jolly nice bit of kit and set it up with cotton and a microcoil on the vtr using this vid Only I used the cellucotton cotton (thought I was ordering rayon LOL) that I got from amazon as it's easier to work with than regular cotton balls
