Unscrewed my Don, took out old battery, walked 5 feet max to charger for new one, walked back to place where atty end of Don was left (battery end hanging around neck on lanyard) - nothing there Searched high and low, to no avail. Fished out Simon's Liberro (Tornegoriva, for those who don't know) batteries, fortunately they still work. LavaTube can't come soon enough Lesson - I need 2 lanyards, one for each end Can you beat that?

Apparently not, Chrissie. Even bro had a look for me. Found a Barclaycard biro. I'm trying not to think about it cos I'll go completely bonkers. But even as I'm typing I'm looking shiftily around the room, can't stop myself...

LOL I've lost count of the number of times I've done that sort of thing - it drives you nuts until you find it again (usually inches from where it was put down).

You could lose your eyebrow pluckers whilst wrapping lots of presents up(not me,daughter).Search the house several times, then several times more, panic that the new puppy has ran off with them, plan to watch over your son when he opens his presents because he WILL stab you in the eye with them(or the new puppy, then find them 2 weeks later amongst your box of Christmas cards, lol.

I've found it best not to dwell too much on looking as things have a habit of turning up when you least expect them to.

Surprise, surprise, I reckon this HC DC Carto runs better on the Tornegoriva than it does on the Don Every cloud...

No, not found it and I'm not going to worry about it. As has been said, it'll turn up I love reading about other people's losses (thanks NNNetty), but can't help feeling old age getting the better of me

I assumed by the title , and it also being written by Scylla , that she was talking about losing something small in the confines of her skull .... or have I misread her
