Hi does any body no the cheapest shipping option to the usa. I got a dna clone of focalecig which went up in smoke after 10 days. I have emailed them they wont me to send It to an address in the usa. They said they will arrange reship process once they confirm the issue. How longs that going to take.

I learnt my lesson with them when they asked me to send my DOA vamo to Germany I wont use them anymore and now stick to fasttech at least fasttechs stuff works and arrives faster

no I didn't bother I thought I would just forget it but never order from them again very bad customer care if you ask me I was told to send a photo so I said how would a photo show dead fault so I was told to send a video once again I said how would that show up the fault so they told me to send it to Germany and I asked for the address and they then ignored me so I thought sod it they have a lot more to lose than me I just wont order from the sub standard company again

Just stick it in a jiffy bag and go to your post office and they'll give you a price to ship it. Just say it's a torch with no batteries, it should not be that expensive.
If you don't have a jiffy bag then the PO will sell you one.
make sure you include any paperwork with reference numbers etc.

Once they receive it Focalecig should refund you the postage cost (keep the PO receipt)

Put the Customs value as £10.00

poor quality battery: Not feasible, putting the battery I the wrong way round or a non lithium 18650 is another matter

We have reflected the problem to the supplier and will check it clearly.

I would even go as far to say the electronics should stop any problems from a battery in the wrong way?

Foclecig, would you like to explain focalecig's stance on these points made by VapingBad, as I agree with the above comments that this is very poor customer service. These failures to acknowledge faulty products is going to loose you a lot of customers, if they can't be resolved satisfactorily!

As far as you are concerned, this has nothing to do with the supplier - your contract of sale is with focalecig, not the supplier. It is down to focal to sort it with you, and then take it up with their supplier.
As a registered vendor on here, I'm sure Chrissie would be interested in hearing what Foclecig has to say on the matter.

The real DNA doesn't have reverse battery protection, they wanted the mod builders to do that, but Hana didn't. But apart form that it much more feasible that the board damages the battery than the battery damages the board.  And the board constantly monitors the load (atty) so long as that is an atty even a faulty one there is no way for a non faulty board to be damaged by a faulty atty.

You are quite right Fred but thats under uk law and the sale of goods act. I suspect Chinese law may differ. However when selling to foreign countries I think the vendor should sell according to law of the country they are selling too as an act of good faith so to speak. This in turn would raise many problems itself no doubt as I imagine the main Chinese vendors ship to many countries.

That's why manufacturers, sellers/re-sellers will, almost always, use the law of the country that they are based in. It makes life easier for them and they use a court system that uses the same language, and may, be more sympathetic to a fellow countryman that a foreigner. You'll never prove that last bit, but it does happen.
