Got battery, dripper etc arriving tomorrow
Only thing I haven't got is a ohm meter but hoping the one on my vtr will be ok
Question is now when everything arrives where would u recommend I start

As long as you've got a vv/vw to tell you coil ohm it will be fine

Good luck, ive only just started recoiling tbh and found that guide very useful, ive been told that you have to get the airflow hole in the right place for a smooth vape im still trying to find the best place for my airhole.

What dripper did you get??

No idea on drippers but making coils is super easy . heres a couple of handy ohms calcs .

Ive only been making coils a few weeks and the only things I think you need to worry about is ohms and shorts . Then wicks, go light on cotton or cram as much as you can get through the coil with raylon . thats all Ive used so far and had pretty much zero troubles.

A raijin and igo m bought them a bit blind off Facebook came with a grand vapour clone and a king v1 clone... And a Sony 18650.. Bought them got them the guy put a new coil on each dripper but after rolling some cotton wool and taking a draw I'm not entirely sure what I've bought..opps

you might want lower nic level
if you chaseing clouds get max vg juice
also line up your air holes with the coils(height and position)

Tried some mr b's strawberry jam 6mg that I got from vapefest ..nearly brought up a lung!! Lol then made MASSIVE mistake of dripping my homebrewed vampire vape blackjack 18 mg..only just come down off the ceiling.. The coils are both 0.4..

Is that 0.4 ohms each or 0.4 ohms combined?  Dual coils half your resistance so 2 coils each reading 0.4 ohms gives you resistance of 0.2 ohms.  Thats really a bit too low and you should recoil with either more turns or bigger coils.  Even with a good quality 30 amp battery in perfect condition you will be pushing it to its limit at that.  
0.4 will be ok if your Sony battery is one of the green 30 amp VTC batteries but its too low for most batteries.  It will produce a fairly intense hot vapour which some people really enjoy, but most people coil for something between 0.7 and 1.5 ohms.  Its cooler, the vapour is less dense and your throat won't be ripped out by your 18mg juice.

He just did me a single coil on each at 0.4 strong vapour.. The battery is a green Sony vtc but the unit started getting warm but it wasn't the battery getting warm it was the mech .. Gonna try and get into coils later in the week..I wanted to see what everyone was enjoying about dripping but I've got a lot to learn..I'm after flavour as my taste buds are fairly screwed up after having a stroke last year and have limited taste when it comes to vaping so hoping dripping opens the doors to what everyone else enjoys.. Although I must admit just had a pull on some digbys peanut butter on the dripper and it was lush

that low you really need to do lung hits to keep the temp of the vape down(ie draw hard and fast)but it take a while to get used to it and if you dont drop yer nic levs youll be high as a kite lmao

i norm drip at .2 on the sonys but thats for chaseing clouds not flavor

Ah that's where the heats coming from I normally vape mouth to lung not straight lung.. No wonder the blackjack blew my head off ..lol
In fact after that haven't picked my vtr up for half an hour..still buzzin..lol

lol yep running a coil that low wont work well on mouth to lung

i started of at about 1 ohm trying to lean to lung hit and keep them in side(not easy at 1st lol)
then i dropped the ohmage

if you want flavor do a twisted micro coil at a higher resistance(its easier to coil with twisted as it seems to stay were you want)
